Well, I got my Ruby (#1) from Southern Digital Hobbies off the Internet. I opted for the kit version, which came to about $410-$420 once you figure in the shipping ($350 list price).
I get the utmost satisfaction seeing my Ruby chug down the rails, knowing that I built it with my own two hands.
For all the fuss about the simplicity and lack of super details, I find the Ruby a great engine, and love mine a great deal. Well worth the money.

awesome! i want to get a ruby 1, i drove a ruby 1 and it was fun! i wish i could get one cheap but that would be hard lol
