This is a great piece of equipment but would it catch explosives such as those hidden by the "shoe bomber"?

They were non metallic and that is the greatest fear today. Just wondering. It's still a wonderful advance as long as there is no radiation going into our feet, and my guess is that it's minimal, if there is any.

I don't package my toiletries in zip-lock bags and I don't turn over my nail clippers. How do I do it? Simple - I don't travel on any commercial airlines. TSA and DHS can kiss my ass!
