  • to open the can and scanned it with that" big tooth brush" and now i obviously can't gift no one with it. All the safety procedures

are justifiable but the impoliteness and arrogance of the guys from the safety of Ben Gurion airport made me don't want to come back to Israel.

  • I had a nice time in israel and I have no complains about the country but the check at the airport is RIDICULOUS. Even though it didn't take that long,( about 30 minutes) they nocked me out with lots of pointless questions in a very insolent way spoiling the end of my trip. They also questioned why I visited some museums, if I knew the address of the places I've been to and the names of the people that recommended me to go to those places. I had bought a can of jelly and the girl managed to o

  • LOLZ SO KEWL HAHA LOLOLOL

  • I am constantly amazed at the stupidity of the general population! Israel, an innovator in everything, creates another new device to make life easier and all you Anti-Semites can only find fault! Stop creating lies to feed you hatred!

I would venture to guess that most of you who complain and attack Israel are using many of their inventions in your homes right now! GET A LIFE! MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE, JUST LIKE ISRAEL DOES EVERYDAY...

  • It's all balloney ! Up untill today there is not such a device at the Ben Gurion Airport .

  • The Israelis are amazing. So what if it costs a little more. Time is precious. I don't want to take my shoes off and step on the floors that millions of people walk through daily, then have to pick those shoes up again.

  • Since this works so well YOU CAN BET IT'LL NEVER BE PUT TO WORK IN THE USA!

  • It doesn't just save time, it is a major convenience for travelers! No more taking off your shoes.

  • How does having each passenger step on the magshoe platform for even a couples seconds save time???????????

Right now they don't have to do anything besides take their shoes off and that does not make the next person to wait.

Stupid idea and just a scheme for a company to sell a useless product in the name of fear.

  • good job we need that in las vegas

  • What about plastic explosives?

  • This device should automatically ignite the shoebomb.

  • ben gurion is using a lot of security things becuz they r sooooo chickens

  • What is the methodology of this device (how does it work?)

  • @tchhigh A person steps onto the MagShoe without having to take off his or her shoes and the device then scans in a matter of a few seconds the whole foot for undetected weapons. Essentially, the MagShoe is a metal detector.

  • -USS Liberty of the US navy attacked by Israeli air force and navy torpedo boats. 34 US soldiers killed, 170 severely wounded

april 12 1938 - may 3 1948 ~ British soldiers, politicians, diplomats, civilians killed and 1000's severely wounded

-British headquarters [king david hotel] bombed

-2 British sergeants kidnapped, hung on a tree in a eucalyptus grove, bodies were then booby trapped

if this is the way Israel treats it's American and British allies, i would not want to be their enemy ..

  • Israelis always doing it better!!!!

  • are you watching TSA , why not adapt this simpler faster security check

TSA YOU ARE WAY WAY behind

  • genius!!!

  • ok im all for security and making things quicker and easier but there acting like taking your shoes off is the hardest thing in the world

  • we seem to be having a problem with shoes over here... i thought the problem was at airports axelle_rose

  • All those women and men doing a great job down there...hope to return to Israel soon...

    G-D bless you !

  • @guentherstoll Come back - soon!

  • I will... :D

  • Are you kidding me...a device to prevent "shoe" bombs?? You are 1000's of times more likely to be killed driving a car than from a shoe bomb. The whole scam is just another way to get the "sheeple" to fall in line and allow the government to control every aspect of our lives. What is next...an underwear scanner called the Magundies? Wake up people before it is too late!!!!!!

  • well they already have full body scanners being installed in US airports, dont think they call them magundies... probly call them "happy testicular cancer! i can see your wifes titties! " ...but same idea.

  • Comment removed

  • Always ahead of the game! Good job guys! :)

  • Worlld airports should follow the example of Israel and properly and adequately look after safety of its passengers.

  • they should put it together with the body metal detector..as a stand maybe...saves them 1.6 secs per person

  • This is a great piece of equipment but would it catch explosives such as those hidden by the "shoe bomber"?

They were non metallic and that is the greatest fear today. Just wondering. It's still a wonderful advance as long as there is no radiation going into our feet, and my guess is that it's minimal, if there is any.

  • Great work Israel. Continue to invent better technologies to save lives. Sad that this is required, but at least your country looks for solutions.

    Wext

  • @umslopagass 9/11 was a set up by FED BANK GOVT, to scare you into being their fearful slaves.

ALL 'bombers' traced back to FED BANK GOVT. - TSA is a fraud, ALL of it is CONSTITUTIONALLY ILLEGAL. These machines just make cash for the jackals cashing in and wreck our health & LIBERTY.

PLEASE help FIGHT to remove the TSA screeners.

Senator Mike Doherty (R-23) has an on-line petition

    “Stop Invasive TSA Screening”

Google; Mike Doherty petition to read/sign it. THANK YOU

  • It's amazing there haven't been babies born with cancer yet from all the radiation we as a society are being exposed to from head to toe!

  • I don't know what planet you reside on now but you might want to visit earth occasionally. It isn't the media scaring us it's the nut jobs of the middle east that have plans to destroy us. Pick your side!!!

  • @normanhale yeah nut jobs yeah stop being such a pussy stfu you live your w hole life scared? hahaha bitch

  • @sloppymantis: It must suck to live in your country. Anyhow I'll give you a thumbs down just for being such a tard.

  • @sloppymantis

Ihope this remark was a joke. too many of these kind of thinkers and the world is in trouble.

  • @esthrm i live in the us. why did people give thumbs down? its not like im the one who does this

  • I don't take off my shoes for any TSA monkey. I don't empty my pockets, don't turn on my cell -phone or open my computer. I don't package my toiletries in zip-lock bags and I don't turn over my nail clippers. How do I do it? Simple - I don't travel on any commercial airlines. TSA and DHS can kiss my ass! The airlines likewise. I don't have to pay $35 for each piece of checked baggage, don't have to buy $5 soft drinks and $3 pretzels, or rent a $5 pillow or blanket.

Free country? My ass we are

  • How's life on your island???

  • Israel continues to impress me, especially as far as technology is concerned. Good job Israel! Let's hope this comes to Canadian and American airports!! Saves so much time!

  • yes diminishing civil liberties are always so convenient.

  • @AENIMA42069 better diminished so called rightd than dead people.

  • @AENIMA42069 - diminishing what civil liberties??

  • Everyone please copy this link and email it to your local airport. Let's Roll!

  • If that machine was used in American airports, it would save time.

  • So true.

  • @Alyeska134 It doesn't matter, because as long as it's on Youtube, the terrorists know about it too. We are approaching this the wrong way.

  • How much does this add to our flight tickets?

  • It probably doesn't effect the price of tickets significantly, if at all, but it does immediately shorten the time it takes to go through security and helps ensure everyone's safety.

  • @GaryVonGary good question

  • Israel makes products that prevent terrorism, while Arabs continue to commit terrorist acts.

The tiny little country of Israel has contributed greatly to the world in the fields of medicine, electronics, etc. The large Arab/Muslim countries continue to give the world nothing but terrorism.

So, who are the good guys? The answer is an easy one.

  • It's only my Naot - Israeli sandals that bleep going through the security!!!! Apparently they have a metal bar running through the sole.

  • cool, Why are we still taking shoes off???

I wish the states would get this!

  • This is smart technology.. after all, jews are known to be smart

  • It's great, but in the almost 30 years I've been flying in and out of Ben Gurion Airport, I have NEVER had to remove my shoes and security checks were quick (except for the long lines).

  • so what are the arab countries going to contribute to secutity with? guesses anyone....

  • Oh, davidsai, you know they're going to say they gave us "algebra".....whoopdie do. ;) Israel ROCKS.

  • Never saw this at TLV! I must look like a terrorist! Yet, never felt so safe and hats off to security in the Homeland!

  • Unless you're one of those mindless women who wear heels that strap all around their legs over and over, that takes way more time than simply slipping off/on regular shoes.

  • And just wait until the first moron falls off the thing and breaks an arm then sues the hell out of the airport. Mount the thing in the floor so it's level with the ground.

  • good idea

  • Gooooooo ISRAEL!!!!! The greatest technology from the greatest people!!!!!! Make sure the kids get checked too, we all know how the Muslims like to use their children as human bombs.

  • the guy is pretty much saying that he's happy to loose his job

  • they have been doing this long enough.... they should have came with this idea years ago:)

  • Thank God for the Israelis and their highly intellligeny population(s). America should hire the Israelis to raise the level of security at all our airports. People who don't like it, can travel another way.

    JLRE

  • שיעשו את זה כשבאים לבקר בכלא

    ולא להפשיט בני אדם

  • Maybe this will stop clowns from tying their shoes in little bo-zo's? But the question still remains, what about the Germans? Will they continue to tie their shoes in knotzies? This new fangled machine could take the sole out of our shoes and leave us feeling like heels! Obviously the manufacter doesn't mind stepping on a few toes! Sorry, I Ked around a lot! ;)

  • wow, so funny.

    very nike comment...

  • I cant wait for this to show up in LAX and JFK.

  • I love that idea. I honestly get so stressed when I go through airport security. You would not believe it. One thing less that I would have to think about. Now why can't airports get more pleasant airport security officials boy would it be a great change.

  • Jvallent - Totally agree with your perspective. I'm all for minimizing the stress level of traveling. You have to worry about so many things, this product would definitely make me feel safer when traveling! Thanks for sharing your point of view!

  • Exactly... But, if it can happen no matter what, the MagShoe should be implemented simply to reduce wait times. And if it stops even a tiny percent of problems, then it's worth it.

  • What people fail to realize is that if a terrorist wants to get to us.....they can. shoe scan or not.

  • Your all wrong, the best way is to check in naked!

  • Salthecomic has it! If we can't have naked security, at least the concept would make a great comic bit or 'Candid Camera' sketch!

  • @salthecomic1 I like a sense of humor.

  • thank Yassir Arafat and the moslems for airport security and the liberals for security chekcing everyone and not just the moslems

  • It's spelt Muslim, genius.

  • "spelled", genius.

  • I hope this would be in every airport in the world soon! There would be awesome! Less worry for passengers who are scared!

  • i hope where you live is a better place, still i find your comment to be a bit insulting.

    peace.

  • I think that your phrasing is very offensive.

With all due respect, crime levels in cities like Tel Aviv are much lower than in cities of similar size in other countries.

  • as long as you don't include crimes against the Arabs that is true, but it is my understanding that they are not considered human in Israel. People say "They are like dogs, you shoot them."

  • Jerkeyjerky, I'm sorry, but if this is your understanding, you're obviously either ignorant or an ignoramous, or both. Too back up a comment it "People say" is something you should get out of the habit of doing. Either go to Israel and speak from personal experience(at which point you would realize you are 100% wrong) or do some factual research to find out some actual examples of this(at which point, you would find that there aren't any).

  • Moshe Dayan, Chief of Israels General Staff, Minister of Agriculture, Minister of Defence, and finally Foreign Minister of Israel, told his fellow cabinet ministers what to tell the Palestinians: You shall continue to live like dogs, and whoever wishes may leave.

  • Hey Jackoff: Don't you know that Palestinians murder Jewish children as a sport? The israelis don't consider them dogs, just bloodthirsty murderers.

  • Arabs and Jews have lived together in harmony for centuries. Since the intifada, the stonings and suicide bombings, Israelis are understandably cautious and no longer trust. I wonder what measures toward terrorists we have used here in the US? Anyone hear of Guantamino, invasion of countries without provocation (Iraq) or our treatment of minorities in this country? You are well named.

  • try "guantanamo"

    idiot

  • Only in Israel, smart people!!!!!!!!!

  • That is Awsome!

    keep inovating

  • Great idea!

I'd like to move there, but it is very expensive compared to the U.S.

  • Except for produce, food and other things, such as clothing, are a little more expensive than it is the U.S., but the rent is significantly lower and overall it is less expensive here.

  • That would be approximately zero!

  • that would total 1.2% sandhillgul you dickweed

  • The Almighty has truly blessed Israel. Now with Benjamin Netenyahu at the helm Mr. Obama get it straight. We will not wait for Islamic terrorists to strike us again. True Americans LOVE and STAND WITH ISRAEL!

  • Comment removed

  • This could only happen in Israel!!!!

    yay Israel!!!

first the cell phone now this!!???

    where will u end???

    :D

  • Great Invention Israel! So sad that we should even need this in the world. Peace!

  • great idea!! Sell it around the world !!

  • That's the plan!

  • I was there in 1985. I left NYC on the Volunteers for Israel Program, working with your Army. Saw and learned a lot! I intend to retire there in a few years,.....

if I can still afford it.

  • God Bless our Landesmen!

  • great invention !

God bless israel .. surrounded by terrorists and haters but could manage to go from nothing to a great well developed nation ..

    Peace . Elyes

  • Israeli technology does it again! Can wait to go to the magnificent Ben Gurion airport and try the new device.

  • Impressive addition to the many things Israel has contributed to the world.

  • GOD BLESS ISRAEL!

AM YISROEL CHAI!!! the people of israel live on.

    CANADA

  • doing a kind of profile to you....

  • Hey US, summer is coming and many people wind up bare foot on dirty floors. Let's get this technology.

  • Make it convenient to pass z security check, OK!?!

  • Wow, this is some great technology. Chazak u'baruch!

  • When it comes to technology and security the Israelis are the best hands down. I know that's tough for jealous biggots and anti-semites to accept, but videos like this just prove it more and more. Sorry Achmed.

  • Israel does it again; a country the size of Wales, the population smaller than London - about 6,000,000 - I am impressed

Where would we be without mobile 'phone & Intel technology also developed by Israel; home to the developers of the most advanced desalination procedures & forward thinking in the field of alternative fuels, & the greatest scientific & medical breakthroughs!

It's surrounded by over 30 hostile Muslim nations & not only survives but thrives.

    You have to wonder...........

  • You're right: "Necessity is the mother of invention."

If every country was surrounded by terrorist Arab countries, you better believe other countries would also be developing such wonders!

  • Kol HaKavod!!

  • Kol Ha Kavod is an expression meaning

"good job" or "all respect. Why woiuld anyone mark this as spam?

  • you are such an idiot and bigot...why would Israel want you to visit anyway...there is no room for losers like you

  • No more smelly airports :-)
