  • What is it about the clothes the hair styles and makeup of the sixties. That made all girls of that era so so beautiful.I was there we had the best of times.Thank you Lord.

    Dusty was a super star.

  • The heartache in her voice is...HEARTBREAKING. Dusty and Karen Carpenter can bring any grown man to tears.

  • @jilhal24 I don't know so much about Karen, don't get me wrong I don't dislike her, but to me Dusty just blows them ALL out of the water when it comes to the voice!

  • @kajunbaby5 Without a doubt! I was speaking specifically of the sadness the both can express, but Dust does indeed have the upper hand.

  • That voice. I loved it when I was a young lad and I love it today.

  • A bonus track released after Dust's death...... How beautiful this song is.... A tragedy this and so many other songs were not released until Dust's death..... criminal..... perhaps a result of Dust's perfectionist obsessions...She could have whistled Dixie and melted your heart......... If only she had known how wonderful she was and fans like me could have let her know it...... WE LET HER DOWN!!!!!

  • I heard Elvis Presley singing this version and thought wow. Both talented singers not the crapping music we hearing right now.

  • I HATE IT THAT I AM STILL UPSET ABOUT HER DEATH!

  • this girl ,had it all ,looks ,a voice ,and tons of natural talent, and its just a pity, she is no longer with us ,and thats a pity ,---mick

  • No dislikes! Just as it should be :-)

Dusty could melt even he coldest heart with that liquid velvet voice of hers.

You are much missed, Dusty. Thank you for your musical legacy.

  • Dusty why did you leave us so soon? No one but no one can sing a song with so much soul as you did!

  • I only wish that you were alive, what a voice and what a soul, I spend many hours listning to you, you break my heart Dusty.

  • Dusty Springfield was beautiful and the most representative voice I've ever heard.

  • I never heard this song before. Nice!!

  • I had no idea there were literate, courteous human beings on YouTube until I saw the uploader comments above!

  • A very sad final statement from a very troubled gifted individual. So long DUSTY R.I.P.

  • Great Song. Dusty does a great job. I think Elvis sang this song in 1973 live from Hawiia

  • Beautiful,+Beautiful pictures,thanks for posting this ....R.I.P.Dustyxx

  • I find it very difficult to listen to this song and not well up inside.

Dusty has a voice that speaks directly to your soul like nobody else! She's a godesse! Thank you for all the wonderfull music you brought into the world Dusty!! It will live on forever.

  • Still the greatest.Love this song.

  • I think of all her songs, this can be the one she puts her heart the most,u can hear her softness and sensibility only she can deliver,Dusty lives in my heart forever

  • This song is so hard to get,is not on Ares, neither on Limewire, can anyone tell me besides here where can I FIND IT?...THANKS DONNYVANGO for sharing and Dusty you are alive with us,we miss u always.

  • @LaLaLa327327 thanks so much,I really appreciate ur help,I will look up for it,thanxs again

  • @kickassfan No problem I'm glad to have helped, I love this song as well! :)

  • @LaLaLa327327 oh by the way if you haven't used itunes before I think you have to download their music player (which is free) in order to buy it. I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure you do.

  • Thank you Donnyvango. Real Music.

  • God...I still love you Dusty.

  • what a pretty song

  • Haunting & gorgeous "It's Over" from Dusty is sublime...such quality & Dusty gets to the heart & soul of this classic!

  • This track is included in the re issue Look of love album 1999.

Only she can do this, thank you Dusty for your voice ,we miss you always

  • a good singer churls your head heart and soul. that was dustys job and she loved it

  • Great voice but Elvis nail it with more emotional evolvement. Dusty sounds a bit too technical and too perfect to suit the song.

  • I simply love u Dusty, you are my queen ,my princess my everything.God bless you and Rest in peace.WE STILL LOVE YOU.

  • Tricky one. Dusty and Elvis both covered this. How can I choose? I think Dusty just shades it on pure vocal quality but Elvis' reading and interpretation is better.

  • quite agree - she's obviously referring to her car which failed its MOT

  • Why does everybody think that she is referring to a man?!

  • @openminded1313

    Those horrible men!

  • @openminded1313 Who cares she was great her personal life was no one elses concern

  • @burnley5960 Obviously you did not catch the not-so-veiled sarcasm in my comment.

  • quite agree - she's obviously referring to her car which didn't pass its MOT

  • Only her can do this, this voice can sing everything

  • Beautiful song! wow! just melts in my mouth it's so beautiful!!!

  • LOVELY

    MARY

  • This version of the song is poor compared to her Rolf Harris Show version. In that version she hits the spot emotionally and vocally. Her voice soars to a carthatic end-brilliant!

  • WHERE IS IT THOUGH!!! i have looked and all I can find is bloody Rolf Harris...digeri-dooing etc

  • @COVKID58 Say what?

  • you can feel the sensitivity of her in her voice,so her

  • so sweet as her, this great is Dusty.

  • Hi Donny

Thanks for the info, I was begining to wonder if I'd bought a pirate copy, many thanks for the reply. Ray.

  • Hi Donny

Could you explain, you say 'It's Over' is on the Look of Love album, I've got that and it's definitely not on mine.

    Regards to all. Ray

  • Hi Ray, There are two CD's entitled "The Look of Love". The one to which I am referring is the remastered version of the 1967 album, which was released on CD in 1999 with four bonus tracks. The final track is "It's Over". It is available on Amazon and also on iTunes. Sorry for the confusion...hope this clears it up. Thanks. Donny
