Im probably just like u mate only need the radio to tell coastguard ur log on details and than tell your mates you bagged out heading back in. than thank coastguard for the coverage, probably why boxchamp has so much time on his hands posting stupid comments. he is still paying off coastguard for the countless rescues they had no choice but to provide him.

to happen is he made it.. most of you lads who speak shit on these blokes who make bar crossings, maybe you should call coast guard to come and rescue you before your boat leaves the trailer, from wide bay bar to tweed bar we got some of the best training grounds, i been over all of them in good conditions to when the weather man gets it wrong days, their is no correct way to cross a bar.. mother nature can throw anything at you in a bar crossing.

I didnt see a single thing wrong with that crossing, ive been fishing for pretty much all of my 18 years and seen this done many times, yours didnt look much different to the charter operators. Hope ya's had a ball and bagged out! keep it up.

hes doin it wrong he went to fast at the wave he wouldve gotten out easier if he put throttle on before back off befor the wave hit and throttle back on just before the white water hit and speed off to the next one - one good thing bout that boat atleast its got goo bottle holders (drink in the vid stayed there)
