This comment is just about his "Bad English" and not about his job as a Prime Minister.

First of all, his English is quite good as it's not his first language and probably he doesn't speak it daily.

The problem is that he thinks in Portuguese to speak in English. I faced the same problem in the first few month when I moved to England back in 2009.

It's quite funny and weird at the same time to listen to him because I'm listening in his "Bad English" but processing in Portuguese : )

Why are you criticizing Socrates? I am Canadian - I speak both English & Portuguese fluently. I understand everything Socrates is saying. In fact, I believe he does a very good job in speaking English. Please keeep in mind that Portuguese is his 1st language - NOT English. Therefore, you're criticism is too harsh. I would like to hear you try to speak Portuguese & then you would know how it feels to be criticized in a language that is not your own native tongue.

Este ''senhor'' mete-me pena. Um primeiro-ministro que vive rodeado por uma nuvem de escândalos, gasta o dinheiro do estado em aeroportos e TGV's dizendo que o país precisa....
