I wish they used the new genesis badge instead of the hyundai~ but then again I can see how the company is trying to make that "badge" a new look. be careful depending on where you live. I know in california de-badging a car is grounds for fix-it tickets...at least in the case of my buddies. Check out the Genesis emblems they're pretty nice almost look like Bentley emblems and they're die-cast and are direct replacements. They also have them for the steering wheel.

What the HELL are you talking about?? Where do you get your data from?? It's cheaper because they're trying to get more established in the American market!! Hyundai's aren't "cheap" in Korea. If their cars were of such low quality, why would they offer such an extensive warranty?

they offer the extended warranty to give them a competitive edge in the market. Hyundai's are cheap in Korea because imports cost a lot more. Second, Hyundai's have japanese and german engineers designing their engines and though not as reliable as Toyota, they are ranked pretty high (at least above Ford) in quality.

Wrong. Actually hyundai was contracted by mitsubishi to build their some of their engines for most of the 90s. Hyundai is actually an engineering company that happens to build cars.

And you obviously haven't been to korean in the last 5 years. I was just there last year, and they are marked up as high as lexus.

And try 3rd in quality. Toyota got 4th :p

maybe in korea but I happen to own a pos genesis, and I wish I had my beamer back, I hate driving a car made of cheap plastic parts, and of course korea will say their car ranked higher than lexus because hyundai's are made in korea, have you checked politics going on in korea? you and I both know hyundai can't stand up to lexus, That's just insulting if you think about it and if you check reviews and the facts you will find that statement to be bullshit, and I have been to korea, didn't like it
