  • Ayydolf hitler....really?

  • THE BRITISH PROVOCATION STARTED THE WORLD WAR 1

  • @unfukkkmee Like what? Please enlighten me....

  • lol hitler

  • Horrible voice. She should be shot.

  • The "stab in the back-theory" as it is portrayed in this documentary is wrong!

  • All i see in all these videos are stupid arguments about who's wrong and blah blah. get the fuck over it this is history arguing isn't going to change something that happened when you guys weren't even fucking born.

  • i know hitler .. and i know what he did with the german's people . and he didn't like the ( muslims ) ... and i am a muslim .. soo i really hate him . .and this is my opinion and you must respect it

  • @manegerable Nobody has to respect anybody, haha. Your argument, if I can even call it that, is weak at best. Don't get me wrong, I too believe many of the things Hitler did were outright terrible, but no one should demand their opinions or views to be respected. And no, you did not know Hitler, you just merely know he existed, to be fair I'm sure you know a fair deal about what he did, such as persecuting Jews, gays, Jehovah witnesses, gypsies, etc.

Sorry for my grammar, not english.

  • @manegerable no1 has to respect it, we should but we are not forced to

  • I really hate HITLER

  • @manegerable You don't even know Hitler!!! OH

  • It's Germany to blame for the first world war .. but it is even not fair for them what the allied power did or sign in the treaty of versailles .. it was not fair for German's because they didn't gave them the right to nogtiate .

  • @manegerable wwl did not start because of germany learn ur facts in history but germany did do most of the destruction especially when austria-hungary and the ottomans which would be turkey 2day were falling behind because of problems they were having with their territories

  • @mikriblublu germany very much did start World War 1. Yes Austria you could say was the first to act in the beginning of World War 1. However, after the assassination of Franz Ferdinand, Germany did do the most action to really get the allied powers into the war.

  • @mowestban Austria and Hungry was a major ally of Germany. They helped the Germans annihilate the russian army.

  • @mikriblublu They didn't "start" it, but most of the blame for WW1 falls upon Germany. They didn't need to support Austria-Hungary, and knew full well that Britain had a treaty to protect Belgium. Germany broke that, and they paid for it

  • You can say Versailles treaty was bad for peace (it's true) and blame the French because they had a sort of lead in the wrtiting of this treaty but it's easy to blame afterwoods. Replace yourself as a French after this War. Most of the western front was in your country so most of destructions and victims (not only deads) are in France. You want Germany to pay for it and be sure they can't "come back" again for long time so France was very severe. It's comprehensible on one side.

  • @Mr91OCB replace yourself as a german, youve already lost the war and now they want most of Prussia given over to this new slavic country. Alsace is handed over to the french, something that was trying to be avioded throughout history. The German empire is destroyed, the germans golden age is over. Germany is already in debt and now they have to pay money they dont have, and fanily the allies want you to take the blame for a war that you didnt start.

  • @SuperTravis898 Must have been very hard to live with and i never said the contrary, but yeah, eastern France was destroyed, it's quite normal the country who declared war and lost it after pays for it. Btw, Alsace came BACK to France cause it was french before 1871, also Poland had the right to be recreated. Polish people aren't german, neither russians. Gdansk (Danzig) might have been an error, but seriously, Germany wanted this war (maybe more than the others) and lost it.

  • @Mr91OCB Im sure it was destroyed, fields turned into muddy deathtraps. I also forgot that the franco-prussian war is how Alsace went under the political borders of germany. Poland got Selesia and Pommerania both having large numbers of Germanic poeple rather than slavic, and im only guessing Danzig was founded on a slavic population. I am going to have to desagree with you on germany wanting the war, it seems Serbia was "trigger happy".

  • @SuperTravis898 They all wanted and were waiting for this war. And when the kaiser of austria-hungary got murdered, Germany pushed Austria into this war, cause Germany wanted to stop Russian power growth before it would be to late. Also Germany wanted colonies in Africa and Asia. I think Versailles treaty follows this war logically. It was not always fair, but logic if you put it in the context.

  • @Mr91OCB very well said.

  • Signed in June of 1919, the Treaty of Versailles >>>nourished<<< the state of war between Germany and the Allied Powers.

  • @celebration81

I think the treaty of Trianon and Treaty of St. Germain both did a very good job and if you look at an ethnic map of Europe from that time..or from now...you will see that both treaties and the Versailles treaty were based on self-determination and basically followed the linguistic map of Europe with a few exceptions like the Sudeten Germans being placed in Czechoslovakia.

But they had good reasons for giving the Sudetenland to Czechoslovakia because of the border defenses

  • @EdwardRommel Again, They created more multiethnic states such as jugoslavia and czechoslovakia. The borders weren't ethnic borders. Slovaks were 48% in the north romanians were 53% and serbs were 22%. After all,Do you think that these were ethnic borders? Again, why did their leaders protest against the helding referendums/elections voting about the disputed borders? It was a dismemberment of a country which was older than england/france/germany. Hungary was founded in 895AD. IDIOT

  • @celebration81

Hungarians often complain that they lost 66% of their territory in the Treaty of Trianon because Austria-Hungary was divided into an Austrian section and a Hungarian section. Only the Austrians and Magyars had any real power and they each had their own parliaments. I have read that the Hungarians were actually more reactionary and harsh with their Slavs than were the Austrian Germans.

But most of Hungary were non-Hungarians like Slovaks, Croatians, Serbs, Romanians

  • @celebration81

"They" didn't really create anything. Austria-Hungary had ALREADY dissolved even before WW1 was over. Czechoslovakia had declared its independence and so had Yugoslavia. The Treaty of Trianon just recognized a fait accompli.

You also have to consider that they did not just consider ethnicity...they also had to consider economics, transportation, canals, rivers, etc.

You Hungarians are lucky you didn't lose more territory for WW2 collaboration with Hitler.

  • america is in every bad thing.....

  • @canada995 yo im Canadian 2 but you shouldent say that. Canada took part in this war before America did.

  • @Uh8MeIh8U95 the treaty is not war.....it is supposed to be a PEACE signing....they simply took out the peace out of it..

  • @canada995

They were actually very fair to Germany in the Versailles Treaty. It was the USA and Britain that convinced the French to not annex Luxembourg or the westbank of the Rhine.

You need to do more research on this treaty. Your knowledge of it is quite inaccurate.

  • @EdwardRommel actually you need to do more research...cause Germany got fuked by the treaty...they had to pay 32 Billion...money they didn't have....which lead to increase in price of everything in Germany...which lead to violence and corruption in Germany....that is when Hitler came in and united the nation, and blamed everything on the Jews...and then WWII....

So if the treaty was less harsh the chances of Hitler in power and WWII would have been less.....

  • @canada995

germany didn't have 32 billion ...but the British , French did? when France and Belgium were devastated by the war...there was no devastation in Germany.

So how is it that you think Germany should not pay to repair france and Belgium?

Who should pay to repair France and Belgium?...no one?

Just leave the whole area looking like the surface of the moon? Is that your solution?

  • @EdwardRommel you do not need 32 billion, which is equal to like 300 billion now day...you don't need that much to rebuild things...

Belgium didn't get shit from the treaty....

  • @canada995

How much in today's money would it could to rebuild thousands of villages in Belgium and thousands of villages in France, rebuild railroad tracks, canals, drain flooded mines, replant thousands of orchards and vineyards, rebuild roads, replant trees, remove minefields, fill in thousands of miles of trenches??

32 billion is about 400 billion today...and that would not cover the cost to do the above.

  • @EdwardRommel thank you for correcting me about 400 billion.

WWI was mainly in trenches, yes there were all of those things destroyed in France, Belgium...There were things destroyed in Germany as well.

It was a trench war fare..they hardly moved back and forward..the only place where anyone really won was in Vimy Ridge

what my main point is that all the countries lost lots of money, people and land..but what the treaty did was made Germany pay for all of it...Money that Germany did not have.

  • @canada995

There was virtually no damge in Germany. ..unless you are speaking about some of the damage the Russians did to some villages in East Prussia...that's about it.

Probably about 3% of the damage done to France and Belgium.

  • @EdwardRommel There were referendums only in Astrian and Hungarian borders. Romanians czechs serbians didn't wan't to hear about democracy and referendums. Because the lack of elections/referendums/ballots: the USA & US. president W.Wilson didn't sign treaty of trianon.

  • @celebration81

Romanian troops had already occupied most of Translyvania and even occupied Budapest I think. If you look at the wikipedia article on "Austria-Hungary" they show an ethnic map of A-H and it clearly shows that Translyvania was majority romanian speaking with little pockets of hungarians there.

I have read the memoirs of Count Czernin at archive, org from 1921 and he explains in detail Hungary's situation in WW1.

  • @EdwardRommel Again: There weren't referendums, thus it wasn't democratic. therefore the treaty is not based on ethnic borders, That's why USA didn't signed it.

  • @celebration81

The US Senate refused to ratify the Treaty of Versailles because it had a provision in it that would have required Britain and the US to defend France against any German aggression. The US didn't want anymore involvement in Europe. We have the Monroe Doctrine. The Old World stays out of the New World and vice versa. Now we know that the Treaty of Versailles IF enforced would have prevented Hitler's WW2 aggression

They also didn't like the League of Nations provision.

  • @EdwardRommel you lost the debate

  • @celebration81

When I was in Vienna..our tour guide told us that the Austrians think that everything was better in the days of Francis Joseph. They are nostalgic for the good ole days of A-H.

But the reality was that A-H was like the Ottoman Empire...it was the "Sick Man of Europe".

The age of empires is long past. You could maybe try to convince the Slavs to give up their indepedence and reestablish the A-H Empire

Maybe the Germans can convince the Poles to return to Germany

  • @EdwardRommel Britain was sick man of Europe. The growth of your GNP was 1%. Austria Hungary had better economic growth during its existence than Britain. Britain had to dissolved. England supressed Irish Scottish people and their language and culture.

  • @EdwardRommel Itself Hungary had better and important inventors and scientists than britain in the 20th century. British science declined from the early 20th century. Britain wasn't innovative country in the 20th century.

  • @celebration81

then why did the Brits invent the tank...before the Germans or Hungarians(oops hungarians never made tanks)...

Ever seen the German tanks of WW1? they only made 20 and they were huge lumbering behemoths that held 20 men...totally wrong design.

Americans invented the telephone, airplane, submarine, phonograph, lightbulb, machine gun, cartride bullet, barb wire ,

So basically everything you Hungarians use everyday in life was invented by Americans or Brits.

  • @EdwardRommel Type in wikipedia "TANK" it says that brits wasn't the first. Telephone history? Type history of telephone in wikipedia. The first motorized airplane was invented in USA, but it wasn't the first airplane. I suggest to see Lightbulb article, tungsten lightbulb is hungarian invention. You lost that debate too.

  • @celebration81

Hungary is named after the Huns...right?

The kaiser told his troops in 1900 that were departing for China's boxer rebellion to "behave like the Huns of Attila"...that's why Germans were called "Huns" in Allied WW1 propaganda.

Does that mean that Huns were barbarians?...and does that mean that Hungarians are descendants of barbarians?

  • @EdwardRommel Idiote. Hungary was named after Onugors. Today it is the only country in the region, which hadn't asian haplogroups. Slovaks romanians serbs have darker pigmentation. (Eye hair and skin color) therefore they called as gypsy nations. Serbians Romanians have western-hater semi-asian Orthodox background. They didn't belong to the civilized western(protestant-catholic) civilization. They were nomads until the 17th centure. That's why Hungarians call them barbarians

  • @celebration81

    Hungary is named after Onugors..hmm....

Why isn't Hungary called "Onugoria"?...why is it called Hungary?

  • @EdwardRommel Idiote & uneducated friend. Read an encyclopedia about Hungarians. Everything is here.

  • @EdwardRommel Hungarians call it Magyarország.

  • @EdwardRommel The word "Hungarian" is thought to be derived from the Bulgar-Turkic Onogur, possibly because the Magyars were neighbours (or confederates) of the Empire of the Onogurs in the 6th century, whose leading tribal union was called the "Onogurs" (meaning "ten tribes" or "ten arrows" ) The "H-" prefix in many languages (Hungarians, Hongrois, Hungarus, etc.) is a later addition. It was taken over from the name of the Huns, that briefly lived in the area of present-day Hungary

  • @EdwardRommel ok even if there was only 3% damage, they were still in economical debt from the war...

the treaty is equal to, adding insult to injury...

after the war the people of Germany were humiliated and need of hope..that is when Hitler came in and showed them hope...they were in such bad shape that they believed what he said...

  • @canada995 Read the later comments of ww1 British Italian and American prime ministers and presidents. After a decade all of them said that the treaty based on lies and the romanians serbians czechs banged the western leaders. The romanians Serbs and Czechs protested agians the idea , which wanted to employ of academic scholars and scientist of British Royal society and french scientific academy. Why did they fear to ask british french and italian scholars about it? Please use your brain.

  • @celebration81

The Versailles Treaty took about 6 months to negotiate and employed about 250 experts on transportation, economics, linguistics, history, finance, etc.

So did the Treaty of Trianon and St. Germain.

Of course the losers didn't like it. Consider what would the result have been if Germany and A-H had won the war. Just look at the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk. It was very harsh to Russia. They were planning on partitioning Serbia.

    The Central Powers were imperialists.

  • @EdwardRommel Hungary belogs to the western (protestant-catholic) civilisation. Romania Serbia was part of the semi-asian orthodox world. Romania had only 6million population Serbia had only 2 million. The 94% of Romanian population works in agriculture. 90%of Serbian population works in the agriculture. Their first universities were founded in the late 1800's. They sounds like a little THIRD-WORLD countries. Both nations have dark average pigmentation and shorter stature. Their cognomen is gypsy

  • this is nothing it would never have happened if they had not given prussia land in 1815 ish,,,please please fellow monkeys lets never let this happen again ok i mean war

  • first yeaaa
