They made this as a joke. George was talking to Jeff about recording errors created by some faulty equipment and said, "We'll bury 'em in the mix"=We'll bury=Wilbury. After that, they used the term for any small error in performance. George joked "Trembling Wilburys", Jeff thought "Traveling" was best. As a joke, the band claimed that they were all half brothers and their fatther was Charles Truscott Wilbury, Sr. I bet they had a blast working together! I miss them!

@RENEEisOnegative Cool. Glad to hear a little more background on the TW. I know they did some work on each others' albums because they talked of how they were in 3 separate recording studios at the same time, across the hall from each other (sorts of like classrooms in school).
