To go a little further... You never hear about a APBT attack when the owner is a responsible person. All the attacks are by dogs owned by thugs or wannabe gangsters. Ban dumb asses from having them and it's all good.

I have 2 pits and they are loving loyal dogs. There are teenagers that walk up and down the alley daily that taunt my dogs and have thrown stuff in my (privacy fenced) yard at my dogs. Regardless of the fact that my dogs are APBT or not... If my dogs hurt one of these dirtbag teens that will never amount to anything, one day, you would only hear about it because my dogs ARE APBT's. If I had Labs or anything else you would not... Punish the deed and not the breed.

pits dont have lock jaw as people believe. im sorry that this happened but to try and put a ban on a bread of dog is wrong. if you want to put a ban on a bread of dog why dont you ban the Chihuahua bread as they are far more common for attacking people for no reason. why not??? its because they are so small that you dont hear about it since there isnt any damage done and the nation is out to destroy a dog just because of its bread!!!
