  • twiggie: I agree that man always has the choice of what to do and how to respond to these distractions. As for war though it's a bit more complex then just love your neighbour. It is incredibly hard to love someone who is not only threatening to kill you or worse kill a whole town of people. [not all war is built up like this, i know] 1st and 2nd world war's prolonging was less about this than it was land and resource package deals and promises.

  • In regards to the comments on technology. Were there not distractions before modern technology. Is this more a case of man made distractions and God made distractions? in terms of which is good and bad. I hear in other posts the human psyche is evolving, yet it seems its still distracted regardless of manmade distractions or God made. To me it would seem excess of anything is a distraction. Which would hold true to teachings on moderation.

  • what should a buddhist do when indeed outwardly, there are faults and negativities.

  • @TheDharmaKnight - one should look back at oneself to understand why these things appear as faults or negatives.

  • only if those of GUN CONTROL frenetics are intelligent enough to be illuminated by his words~

no fault in external no matter what, the fault results totally from within- our mind- and this is simply a simple logic as well as an eternal truth.

the WAR goes on as long as human hasn't got due intelligence to realize the simple fact.

  • Thank you so much.
