@sweetandspicyful firstly the light doesn't have to be lit for it to work, if it's producing no vapor then that's a problem, but even it's not producing vapor you can use the lifetime warranty for a new one.

Iv clean my stem b4 with Listerine. I used a Q tip as well. Listerine's a deodorant and it gives your stem a nice cool taste right after.

The stuff in the tube is mostly pure THC. Put that on top of your herb and hit it like hash.

To clean the stem you can run hot water through it, bend a pipe cleaner in half, and just shove it in there, works perfectly.

Nice video and good advise, you could cut the end of the tip off with scissors after you pushed it through the stem to avoid trailing stuff back through it again but I suppose you didn't have any at hand.

Ahhhh you could have just ripped out the rest of the cotton from the other side of the Q-tip and then you wouldn't have had to drag it through again

One thing. I would recommend is carefully wiping with a soft cloth, paper towel or dry Q-tip the inside chamber when it is soaked with alcohol after cleaning. Not just to prevent damage, but you could remove more resin. If you simply let the alcohol evaporate, any resin that the alcohol loosened and is suspended in, will sink back in as the alcohol disappears.

hey on the website the makers said specifically not to use rubbing alcohol as it doesn't really need it and you'll be tasting alcohol in every hit for awhile

@Fogell420 you're right they do, but their warning is really for not letting any rubbing alcohol soak into the wood, sometimes the screen needs some extra help to get clean. This is why I repeat many times not to use a lot of alcohol at all, so you can avoid this. get a paperclip or long metal pin and get all the pure thc hash oil out of the stem. As long as you don't combust your weed it's top quality stuff and gets you baked as shit.

@DharokDude i thought about that but then when i thought about it sitting in there for months and how it's now kinda mixed with rubbing alcohol, i just threw it away =D you could technically save it but you'd probably have to scrape it out instead of using alcohol to clean it.

@TheBestVaporizer - you can clean that up, just dissolve it in some 97-99% alcohol you can get from any drugstore, then filter it through cheese cloth, then put it on a metal cup on a mug warmer with ventilation...should have some nice clean oil in a couple of hours :)

@colin749 its possible u may have used a little too much rubbing alcohol, or, its possible that its built up resin on the screen that is smoking and not the alcohol... either way u should be fine if u let it dry. its important to make sure u use the smallest amount of alcohol possible, but its common for the launch box to smoke any time u just stick a battery in cus there's almost always some build-up on the screen somewhere.
