It seems like many people became parents in an unplanned way, and now have the obligation of caring for their children, when they'd really rather be doing something else. I see many men doing whatever they are called to do in the world without looking after their kids, and many women caring for their kids with some resentment. How does doing what you most love and feel called to do fall in line with parenting? I can see leaving one's unfulfilling work, but we cannot leave our children.
