Thank you Tom! It was an interesting process and was a lot harder than I thought it would be (which is why I ditched the close-up shots). It involved me estimating when I would say a line and then doing the same for the second part.
In the editing, I made only a couple of cuts when the timing was really off. To get both takes in the one, I cut-out one character and pasted it onto the first character's take. To get the shadows, I flattened both layers underneath it all as a "darken" layer mode.
