What I personally don't get is why EVERYONE assumes that when Daxter said 'Monk Boy' he was reffering to SEEM. HELLO! There were OTHER, MALE monks there too. Daxter could have been talking to any one of those.
Also - Why would a MALE character be played by a FEMALE voice actress? 'Cause a WOMAN in the voice for Seem. AND Seem wears a SKIRT.
..*stares* The commentary in the game specifically states that she is a girl. By your logic, all the Jakgirls need to have giant gazoombas, too. And if you look closely at her initial concept - which WAS a boy - to her final one, her hands are less masculine, as are her eyes and overall facial and body structure.
It does explain it a bit if she started off as a boy. Sorry, i forgot to watch all the commentry as well before posting... but the game in itself is inspecific. I was given the impression Seem was female but i do have a habit of getting things very wrong so..!

Np, thought you were being FAST in replying though! Guess i might have been playing devil's advocate really; i'd think that most people guess Seem to be female. But seeing the video made me think if there were definate signs in the game, and there were only rough ones in body language etc...
Lol, did yo know Seem's voice is by Tara Strong who does Keira? That's probably no surprise, but I was REALLY surprised when I found out that Tara does Timmy Turner's voice in Faily Oddparents and Bubbles in Powerpuff Girls as well as Ember in Danny Phantom. I think she does Raven in Teen Titans too. I'm waiting for the video to load. Slow computer. Lol
Seem is my favorite character in Jak 3 and the song fits her too! Did You know that Naughty Dog had first written her to die when Erol attacks the Monk Temple in the game? You can tell by the way her voice changes it's kinda raspy. I'm glad they changed it because we didn't see her much in the game's cutscenes so it would have been a drag. Thanks so much for making this video cause I really do like Seem.(Even though she dosen't trust Jak at first because of his Eco Problem)
usually I am a JakKeirafan, even though it often feels like Keira is trying to train Jak into some kind of lapdog.
But this one really make my JakSeem-muse go wild, I love the choice of music and the editing. Wonderful work, need to fave this one. Hasta la vista, I'm off to write some JakSeem-fanfiction.
Where I live...Seem is a boy o____o I guess it just depends on the audience's location *shrugs* I think we should let the debate die already...

Call me sad, but i did play the game through again watching out for signs and there are very few :S
The voice is neither-here-nor-there, and Naughty Dog normally isnt very subtle with making female shapes. *coughcough*
