I just got the same bag, tonight :) I have five other LV shoulder bags in monogram and I love this stlye in the Azur pattern... I'm not a big hand held bag girl, thats why I waited to get this one soo late in my collection... Love and adore the video!
I have this bag and love it! BUT I would love to but the damier ebony speedy soon for a few different reasons. The biggest reason is that you don't have to worry about it. It wont get dirty and the handles don't change color or darken at all.
@aicap9289...i want to get the ebene too..but size 35 seems too big lol..even the 30 is kinda too big. Im 5 ft 8 and im kind of skinny..so it looks huge on me. You should consider your height/weight to see if the bag goes with you. :-)

I got it from the LV store for $700 and it came to $750 with tax. If someone is selling it, make sure u see it first so u dont get ripped off. For $600 it sounds like it might be real, but be careful. I know theres a lot of fakes on ebay...

@EtherealLuv You can't go wrong buying from the real LV boutique or Neimans because you know they don't sell fakes. It's worth a couple of hundred more to have that peace of mind.
Why not just go buy the real thing for $150 more at a LV store? That way you won't have to question its authenticity. It would be sad if you paid all that money for a bag, take it to a LV store to make sure its authentic and to find out that its not.

My hunny is telling me to get the MACbook since I already have a Louis but you know how us Louis girls are, we can never have enough. Honestly...i think it is actually weird to wear in the winter for some reason. My bag is boxed up in my closet and will see the light in the Spring time. It's looks so much better in the 'Spring time and worn with light colors. The Damier Ebene looks great in the winter and with black clothes. Just my opinion :)

Yep. Louis Vuitton bags are made in France AND USA. Most people feel more comfortable knowing that their bags are made in France, but it doesn't really matter. As long as they are bought from the Louis Vuitton store and come with all the correct tags, and as long as the handles start darkening in color after use. My bag was made in USA and bought in the LV boutique at the Garden State Plaza mall in New Jersey =]

hmm...i dunno..i just love my Louis bag. it could fit a lot of stuff, and i love big bags. Plus they last you like 20 years or so. You can use them for many years to come.
i have the same bag...i have a question for you....do you know how i should clean it.? i use it so much the handles got really dirty. let me know if you have any ideas. you know what else, i have the matching wallet and the stitching is coming off.....i need to get it fixed. the wallet aint' fake though, because i bought it at the Louis vuitton store.
you should try cleaning the handles with unscented baby wipes, or you should try using a spray called Apple Guard. I heard they both work well. But i haven't gotten my bag dirty yet, i only wore it out 2 or 3 times so far. Oh, if the handles are very very dirty, you can go to the Louis Vuitton store and they'll give you new handles, but you have to pay like $100 dollars or something :/
yep..thats part of the reason why i made this video..to show the size and stuff just in case some one is interested in buying it. unfortunately, when i first wanted this bag, there were no youtube vids about the size and stuff, so once i got it, i made this vid so no one would have trouble seeing how big it is and stuff :)

Congratulations on the purchase, but sadly this is one of the bags I hate along with the papillion. alot of people have it and its too bland. The Damier Canvas was a better option. The Neverfull PM beats it IMO for being a hand and shoulder carry bag.

Eddie, it can last you up to 6 or 7 years if handled properly! Plus it has class, style, and did i mention it was a Louis Vuitton bag?? The bag actually ages, just like a human being would but with a shorter life span =]..Over time, the handles will darken and become a nice golden honey brown color..Its just an art to most people, its not a regular bag hehe..Nice question!

Honestly...i think it is actually weird to wear in the winter for some reason. My bag is boxed up in my closet and will see the light in the Spring time. It's looks so much better in the 'Spring time and worn with light colors. The Damier Ebene looks great in the winter and with black clothes. Just my opinion :)

Pronounced "Dam-yay", but whatever. lol. i really like the Azur Damier, i own a wallet and a wapity case is this color. I bought my friend a Speedy 25 for her birthday, also in Damier Azur. =-)

I actually don't use it as much as i have to. I don't really go on exciting places, and when i do, i don't want my bag getting dirty lol..i really need to start using my LV bag more often..i didn't spend all that money to leave it sitting in its box in the closet :/

love the vid..my hubby just got my first LV couple of weeks back but before i finally got what i really want, i had lil trouble on which one to decide, they're so debating...and yes! i end up and fell in love to my first and new speedy 30 damier..so yeh, know that feeling when you first got yours..i'll admit, i am press!..haha..i was virginized by LV..ahaha!...congrats btw! it makes me wanna get the monogram now, same speedy 30! gotta do a lil hint to my hubz for our 5th anniv. next yr =)

Yep. Louis Vuitton bags are made in France AND USA. Most people feel more comfortable knowing that their bags are made in France, but it doesn't really matter. As long as they are bought from the Louis Vuitton store and come with all the correct tags, and as long as the handles start darkening in color after use. My bag was made in USA and bought in the LV boutique at the Garden State Plaza mall in New Jersey =]

hmm...i dunno..i just love my Louis bag. it could fit a lot of stuff, and i love big bags. Plus they last you like 20 years or so. You can use them for many years to come.

i have the same bag...i have a question for you....do you know how i should clean it.? i use it so much the handles got really dirty. let me know if you have any ideas. you know what else, i have the matching wallet and the stitching is coming off.....i need to get it fixed. the wallet aint' fake though, because i bought it at the Louis vuitton store.

you should try cleaning the handles with unscented baby wipes, or you should try using a spray called Apple Guard. I heard they both work well. But i haven't gotten my bag dirty yet, i only wore it out 2 or 3 times so far. Oh, if the handles are very very dirty, you can go to the Louis Vuitton store and they'll give you new handles, but you have to pay like $100 dollars or something :/

yep..thats part of the reason why i made this video..to show the size and stuff just in case some one is interested in buying it. unfortunately, when i first wanted this bag, there were no youtube vids about the size and stuff, so once i got it, i made this vid so no one would have trouble seeing how big it is and stuff :)

Congratulations on the purchase, but sadly this is one of the bags I hate along with the papillion. alot of people have it and its too bland. The Damier Canvas was a better option. The Neverfull PM beats it IMO for being a hand and shoulder carry bag.

I have a LV bag too..they are beautiful. I have the black multi-coloured Rita bag..check it on the LV website....I love it....set me back £1310.....They are so head turning aren't they..and you can tell a fake from a mile when you own the Real thing....best wishes..x

Hey congrats on the bag, I'm a guy and I'm in love with LV. I bought my fiance the Speedy 35 ebony Damier and she loves it. Valentines Day is next saturday and I'm planning on surprising her with the Monogram Vernis ALMA GM, and to sohandsome, go ahead and buy the bag, a lot of people buy fake LV everyday and most haters are going to say "that's fake" and they won't bother u. There's a Gucci store opening next to the Louis Vuitton store here @ the King of Prussia mall and she's already begging for summer sandals (Barbados trip in the summer) so who knows.

If the handles were to break or something were to go wrong with it unfortunately Louis Vuitton will not be able to fix it unless you pay :( lol sucks huh? But it's ok.. It's worth EVERY PENNY. you might as well get it fixed AND THEN buy a NEW ONE! lol

If they only knew about the aging process of the handles, then maybe they'd think twice. But i feel you on the "too many fake speedy's out there".. sad isn't it? :(

Eddie, it can last you up to 6 or 7 years if handled properly! Plus it has class, style, and did i mention it was a Louis Vuitton bag?? The bag actually ages, just like a human being would but with a shorter life span =]..Over time, the handles will darken and become a nice golden honey brown color..Its just an art to most people, its not a regular bag hehe..Nice question!
