@CaptainZippyVideo because the melody is higher and the bass part is lower than the rhythm part, so he HAS to cross his hands on some parts. he could also jump but then he had to play different parts with different hands.

BUt I htink he had his arms crossed so that he could easily switch to the high notes w/o having to reposition both of his arms, cuz you see he keeps his one hand in the same area. I think that's easier so now he only has to reposition one :). but yea you killed this man , thats skill lol

@dancergirl4943 ppl can't keep one beat on one hand then the other. ex usually the right hand is the one that makes the different beats and the left hand is the one the keeps the rythem. since the song has the left hand makes the beats and the right has the rythem he has to switch it

i've played piano for about 9 years and am pretty good trying to figure out Lithium on piano...really hard to keep tempo Boston (not the band but Augustana (is the band)) is almost impossible....Also the tempo seems a little to fast but thats my point of view....It is amazingly well done..if you could figure out one of these two songs please tell me
