  • This overlapping with the solists and the choir is incredible!

  • the last time I talked with Bach over the phone he told me he liked the vibrato of these ladies...

  • thanks for sharing this video. I would love to own a copy, any idea where i can buy it?

  • They sing very nice, but I agree with the vibrato-thing. Especially in this duet there are very much little intervals and it just isn`t so impressive because the vibrato is disturbing and it is not to be sung like that in that genre.

  • @ChoirMusician

who are you to pass judgement on this? I know that you have never been in Munich and sat and listened to this performance. I guess in 1971 you were not even born. Keep quiet and listen, until you grow up!

  • -.- child!

  • Nice, but I think this should be faster, and without such large vibrato... In the time of Bach singers sang without it.

  • You are right. The performance is great but is not in the style of its Age.

  • @LothavM I'd say it's just a modern interpretation. Thhe vibrato doesn't bother me, although generally I prefer a narrower vibrato.

  • Thank you so much for uploading this masterpiece. Very moving indeed.

  • Excellent.... very moving!

  • bravooo

    grandioso
