Yeah! The guitar would be perfect with an ebony fretboard. That and the scale lenght are the only things that are making me in doubt between a Ltd or a Schecter Blackjack C7. I'm using a 59-10 set on a 25" 7 string guitar and it's loose on the 7th string. Thanks for the reply!
@Jonjonbr Sorry, but I´ve only recorded one test with the Legion and tested a couple hours the X50. I haven´t tested the AXE FX or the Eleven Rack, so I can´t tell you which one is better.
I don´t have any problem with the scale lenght right now, and I´m sure that with the correct string gauge, the 7th will sound even better.
Good job dude! Amazing tone and I'm definitely in love with the looks of that guitar! What's the string gauge you're using? Is the lower B tight enough?
@Jonjonbr Thanks a lot, man! I really like the sound of the POD XT Live, but I´m messing with some software amp simulator (LePou, X50, etc) and may get a better sound (I am after an Axe FX or Eleven Rack, but wanted to test these soft sims before)
Glad you liked the looks of it (only would have been improved if it had an ebony fretboard..)
The strings are the ones that came with the guitar, but it´s a little tight in the first strings and loose on the 7th. I´m trying soon a 59-10 set
Awesome Riffage man !!!! Im really thinking about getting one of these .... ive been a Ibanez guy for 15 years ... and just recently got a LTD 360fx ..... and wow i love the sound ... so i imagine that the H-1007 will sound just as good =)
@JOETIBBS83 Thanks a lot, man! I think LTD make awesome guitars for the price (I also own a LTD K500 upgraded with active EMGs) and this H-1007 looks and sounds amazing. And also plays really well.
