  • If the songs "Call Me" and "Tonight is the Night" were released under the name La Bouche, they would have been more popular and their career would have lasted longer. Also, if Frank Farian, their producer had not focused on other projects, and had made La Bouche a priority, they would have been world wide celebrities like Milli Vanilli and Ace of Base.

  • OK so for those of you who aren't DJ's and so aren't in the practice of creating megamixes, lots of dance numbers even by the same artist are recorded in different keys.

    This is so the vocalists can still cover the range of the song with their sometimes-limited vocal ranges. The recording of `I Love To Live' is 1b from `Falling in Love', so rather than make a splice at the end of the song, they do a musical turnaround and modulate down before a final chorus to the new key.

  • WOW - After all these years I still can't believe what an awesome voice Melanie Thornton had. It is so sad that she died in a freak airplane accident in Germany. I can only imagine what other great songs that could have been sung by her :(
