Great lyrics... the song is about a man and his devotional love for his creator because of the figure of a female in the inset it takes your focus away from his love for Allah and places it on the female...Since there is a male singing you would automatically assume its being sung for the woman in the picture...
aku brsyukur mnjdi diri sndiri..x perlu ikut2, bila ati terluke bagai dihiris tanpa henti..aku dgr lagu ni..cintaku pd ALLAh mkin dekat dgn lagu ni..kdg2 ase x nk kawin *lol*..ntahla..ssh cari y jujur..sume hipokrik..baik kopiah, ustz, y biase2...makin tawar setawarnya..aku brsyukur krn cinta ALLAH xkn pudar...penah berdoa ya allah jgn lepaskan cintaku darimu..spy aku x kawin..*lol* pelik bebenor aku ni..entah..aku selesa alone..ati salu nangis rindu kat allah...manusia bnyk sakitkn hati..ujian2
Aa, to all the people criticising this 'love song- Nasheed', you fail to see that this Nasheed was NOT released (his former company released it without his consent) and the actual Nasheed is clearly a Islamic Nasheed, I would presume here he was finding the right lyrics and rhythm before adding the Islamic touch to it or what not, he did not complete it.... Aa
can i be honest and all.. i'm all into anasheed with lil music in them and all but sami yousif sings in a weird way @@ i cant help but feel like i'm the only one who thinks that..
Hmm i think he sings okay but the only weird thing for me is that he is singing about god.. its a bit creepy, but i just take the songs as about someone else and then its fine =)
@2000fero Oh I know what he is thinking behind the song I am just saying that it does make more sense if it is about a person. Most people won't realise it's about god unless they know that the singer creates all his songs about god, otherwise everyone would assume its about a person.
@emkoirl That is a fair point, however you fail to see that this Nasheed was NOT released (his former company released it without his consent and the actual Nasheed is clearly a Islamic Nasheed, I would presume here he was finding the right lyrics and rhythm before adding the Islamic touch to it or what not, he was did not complete this.... I always cry when i hear this song :') 'Cos I would see. The human I know I used to be. How I was lost before you reached for me. Ya Allah ♥ I'll be lost without you.
It's def about God. But it's understandable how everyone can see it as a romantic song, because it speaks of love. And many of us haven't felt that level of love for Allah. Loving someone in this world def helps you relate that feeling of love towards. I can only pray you all feel a very high and powerful form of love for Allah, just be prepared that the journey to it is not an easy one and unlike any. Just think about it: it's you loving ALLAH. There's gotta be greatness in everything there. :)
@Awake4Islam Oh brother masallah, you are so right, even your look at a stone changes when you are loving HIM.. insallah I hope for you that Allah cc will love you as much as you love HIM..
I think the singer intended it as an islamic song but i guess it depends how you interpret it, for me it makes more sense that it's a song about a person not about god.

I believe the actual song is dedicated to god, but this is for the latter, as the lyrics never indicate that it is god and can be used either way (even more so for a lover i would say than god).

@1992Rajab yeah this song is dedicated for a lover..but the lover here is refer to God..how deep and how much he loves Him...becos the best lover is only Allah..

We need to hear such meaningful songs, consacrated to God, the Creator of the Univers.
We need to hear these songs in a time that we hear and watch just some clips that we can't call them songs and maleducate the society.
It's to be sorry that just some weak creatures, like man is, can speak with irony for these song meanings.
However,I say BRAVO to this singer and God bless him!
