And thats not a standard default router address, it think the word you were looking for is default gateway which it isn't either because the standard defaults r usually 192.168.1.1 or .0.1 Idiot. @makemagazine actually its the ip address given to the computer by the DHCP server running on the router, not the ip address of the router its self. besides, that statment is axiomatically wrong due to the fact that there is no 'standard defualt router address'. there are standard ip address fromats, but no one standard router address.

If you're a tech-savvy nerd(like me) you can just use an Arduino to wire everything, and control it with your computer through USB :)

@turf7227 Totally, those Arduino's are so cheap too! I was going to attempt to build a  full size vacuum roomba to trip people out, but I'm debating how to do collision detection with such an odd shape (the height is the killer when it comes to hitting a couch or a table or something)

@flamingfigures Parallax(I think thats how its spelled) sells a range finder for $20-$30. You could put one on the top(I'm assuming its a stand-up vaccuum cleaner) to check for things like a table, in-between the legs. And another at bottom, so it doesnt run into something like a person. Thats an extra $70 or so, but its an easy solution :)
