Don't put the console like that. Allot of vents r blocked. You might also want to put it on it's side. If I tips over the console will be damaged and it will burn a hole through the disc inside it

That's the NXE update , it comes already installed to the newer systems , but has to be installed via XBOX LIVE silver or pro works. Must have high speed connection to connect to the XBOX LIVE servers. Hope this helps!!
