@Alexking99 Did you turn the code on before the title screen appears? If you are using an emulator did you check which keys operate the d-pad?

@yoshielectron i did i turned the code on b4 the title screen and checked to see which buttons worked the d-pad am i supossed to hold the d-pad buttons?

@Alexking99 No, just press a d-pad direction and then enter a level for the music to change. Have you got any other codes on? And can I check if you are using an emulator and if so, which one?

Nevermind, it seems to be a Youtube glitch. On some of your videos a red or purple spot appears for a second or two at random times. They're different every time it's played.

Nice, I didn't think you could do that Peach rescue song! And what's with that underground water theme? I don't see anyway possible that you can change it to one of the other three versions. (On Land, in water, and in a cave). Usually, when you put that song somewhere it just comes out as the cave remix. Any way to fix that so that I could maybe do the peaceful version on land?

I just modified the level music command so you can use any of the music that the command uses.

Interesting patch of the music command :). I have been searching for a while for the function that changes the music inside levels (ie: plays Toad's music when you talk to him), but I can't find it.

Anyway, looking forward to see more music codes :). There's one halfword (0x80222628 in NTSC) that changes the pitch, perhaps you coulde make a cool music code out of it using your D-pad codes.

The star select screen uses the 0x37 level command, which is probably very similar to the 0x36 "setmusic".

there's one code at bsfree(DOT)org which can change which song is played when you get the wing cap, perhaps you could take a look at it?
