@DanLordyRF in the portal 2 comic: lab rat, rattman took his last 2 pills for his disease and without the pills he could talk to the companion cube.the companion cuve told him where the turrets were so when he took the pills the companion cube couldnt talk to him anymore. soo rattman didnt know where the turrets were so he got shot in the and saved chell. then he went to sleep in a cyrogenic chamber and died of pain.

The Sountrack is called "Ghost of Ratman" because Ratman is out there, somewhere within Aperture. His presence is mysterious, like a ghost. You can say that he's haunting the area with his strange Rat dens with him talking to himself.
