@gamer4ever15 Many biologists. This is the simplest way to check for contamination in a sequence. For example - I 'think' I sequenced some lizard nuclear gene, but BLAST might suggest that, whoops, I actually sequenced a human nuclear gene (from some skin cells, hair, etc.).
