  • Low Brass Kicks Ass!

  • Jesus is up there chilling with the tuba section.

  • @evan1005 "LOL, missed a note"

  • Agent 47 from Hitman @ 0:40 !

  • 0:40 there's hitman in the left :))

  • So much brass! I love it!

  • Well done by them.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • the white guy at :40 looks like the dude from hitman sweet!!

  • @BigCrzyRdNeck don't blow his cover man, he's going to kill the maestro!!

  • what is the title and artist of that song?

  • @Pixelhate1 Its Mendelsohns Song without words op 62/3 and its called Trauermarsch in german.

  • Sorry but ThatRachGirl is right, it's Mendelssohn's Funeral March, Beethoven's is so "different".

  • 2010.0211 This Cuban band performance is indeed an arrangement of Beethoven's Marcia Funebre ( Sulla morte d'un Eroe ) Sonata 12 op. 26; and was the opening minute-gun march during Queen Mother's April 2002 Royal funeral procession. U.S. Armed Services bands performed this work at march step during President Kennedy's Mon. 25 Nov. 1963 procession from St. Matthew's to Arlington National Cemetery. This piece is often thought to be Mendelssohn's "Songs Without Words" Op. 62 No.3 .

  • Sorry, but it's Mendelssohn. Beethoven's piano version is v=Vn-Y-94uiD8 and Mendelssohn's is v=GsqyGJklR5I

  • THIS AINT CHOPIN, ITS BETHOVEEN

  • Neither, it's Mendelssohn. :)

  • well that sucked!!! Its just 2... pretty for lack of a better word.

  • Mendelssohn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is definitely not chopin's.

  • This wonderful piece of music is definitely the Funeral March (Marcia Funebre sulla Morte d'un Eroe - Funeral March on the Death of a Hero), from Piano Sonata Opus 26, No.12 by Ludwig van Beethoven!

  • whenn the queen mother's coffin was transferred to Westminster in a ceremonial procession in 2002, this was the first song played by the military band - is there any video footage of it?

  • What melody is like tii tii titii tii ti tii ti tii titii

  • chopin's funeral march

  • it doesnt fucking matter who composed it, just appreciate it for what it is

  • Well, it does matter. And the tune is Mendelssohn's, of course.

  • I don't know why Isignorancebliss' comment got thumbs downs. If you type in:

Barenboim plays Mendelssohn Songs Without Words Op.62 no.3 in E flat Minor - Funeral March

you will see that it is MENDELSSOHN who composed this.

  • its chopin. everyone knows that. except u. not tryin to b rude. just statin the facts.

  • Well, if you're going to state facts, at least make sure they're true; this is not Chopin, but Mendelssohn. How the hell can one misstake Mendelssohn's funeral march for Chopin's. That only means that you actually don't know the pieces so stop saying "everyone knows that" cause, obviously, you don't.

  • im so sorry. this was my bad i was trying to find chopin's peice and i watched it before this and clicked on this one. omg im sorry. my bad!

  • Nevermind. And sorry for sounding a bit rude in my earlier comment.

  • I'm stating the facts by giving evidence - have you even bothered to type in what I said?

  • Its not Chopin's, it startes of, plays and end diffrently o.O

  • LOL you are a noob !

  • NOT IS CHOPIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • For one is sure this is not , I repeat , NOT Chopin's. Unless I am terribly wrong but Chopin composed one for the piano only.

  • @ClassicMusicOnly You're right, it's not Chopin's funeral march.

  • @ClassicMusicOnly this is beethoven's funeral march

  • @putoamodetodo -No,it certainly is not.

  • @paulostroff99-He did write others besides the much more famous one though.

  • @ClassicMusicOnly -He wrote a funeral march into one of his piano sonatas.

  • @ClassicMusicOnly He did orchestra too , just mostly piano.

  • @ClassicMusicOnly it's chopin's piece arranged for a full band. ignorance is never a good thing, that coming from a 16 year old.

  • @delpster21

Actually, you are correct. Chopin's Funeral March has been arranged into orchestra version, it is used by the Polish Army. My mistake.

Although sometimes I believe people like you must come down to act like a smart person. Speaking of ignorance, don't forget your capitalization when you start your sentences dear!

  • @ClassicMusicOnly Chopin's was transcribed to full orchestra in 1933. But this is not it.

  • Comment removed

  • @ClassicMusicOnly This is Mendelssohn's...

  • looks like there's a big fight on what this is, i'm interested to know who's right though, who composed this?

  • chopin did

  • /watch?v=TvKdBO9khG8

    /watch?v=kyFyAqLtHq8&feature=fvw

Watch the two vids above and you will see clearly that this is Mendelssohn's version.

  • oh look ...jesus

  • OMFG... AND WHAT IS NOT ?! XD

  • HITMAN KKKK!!

  • HITMAN (47) on 0:42 ????

  • Yes, and Obama next to him...

  • who was the composer of this?

  • chopin

  • Sorry, but the composer was Ludwig van Beethoven. This is an adapted version of his Sonata No. 12.

  • NO MENDELSSOHN

  • This really makes me feel like I was forced to shoot my closest friends...

  • Was this at a funeral?

  • Who died?

  • LOL...that was funny..needed the laugh!:-)

  • I love this piece. It is so haunting. Was that Jesus I saw in the background playing with his tromboner?

  • OMG O . O

  • Actually it was his horn.

  • As played at the start of the funeral procession for Queen Elizabeth in the UK.

  • Queen Elizabeth II is still alive...

  • i think he may mean.. tho i'm not sure.. Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother?

  • It reflects the mood of the Russian military.

  • It does sound like some old soviet thing, I bet Spetsnaz listens to stuff like this to get psyched before going on a mission.

  • lmfao

  • It makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end! I wish could have been there to hear it in person, you can't fully appreciate it otherwise

  • an outstanding piece of music. Very moving and tragic...

  • oh how vaugley depressing

  • who is this by? Its very nice!

  • Chopin?

  • Yes

  • Not at all !!! that's the Song without words opus 62 3rd Movement in E Minor from Felix Mendelssohn !!!!!!

  • the guy in the left hand corrner looks like the guy that played in hitman

  • Lol he does too

  • This Funeral March is an orchestration of one Felix Mendelssohn's Song Whithout Words Op. 62

  • It sounds very goood.

    Very deep and clear sound.

    Many Congratulations!!!

  • Todos da banda estão de parabéns!

  • Quase, tinha um quase dormindo.
