O.k, all of the customes can be unlocked in the regular version, including the Black Spiderman suit (though you need to complete everything, including races and all that).

And when he goes into that rampage, he's just playing on Venom mode, which you can switch to and from once you beat the game.

There is a reason... In the ultimate Spider-man comics (which this game is based on) the Venom-symbiote had a lot of control over Eddie. Eddie was in pain and even tried to get rid of the symbiote for a while. He started eating people in order to ... well.. survive?
