Which would you recommend more for late season skiing? I have a friend who wears the venture, but I wonder if the resolve wouldn't work just as well because I prefer one of the colors it comes in!
Which of these would you recommend the most? I live in North East and I need a jacket not only for rain but can stand the cold. I don't mind wearing a second layer under this jacket.
@koryan The large should fit you well, the only concern is whether or not it will be long enough and whether the sleeves will be long enough. It should be fine though.

Ex. whether you want a collar or not, whether you want a hood that you can hide, etc. For running I don't necessarily suggest any of them because they will not be as breathable as a softshell jacket. Check this out the cipher hybrid jacket by north face for men.
The resolve is the one you want for more comfortable wear and rainy cities like Seattle

i ordered a venture parka in large. i am 6'4" and 85kg, do you think it will fit me? I just want it for daily use and occasional bushwalking

Finally a comparison on these 2 jackets! I couldn't decide which one to get! And I still don't! But I'll have to see them in person!
