  • Sellars is a excellent genius ,sadly nobody has been able to replace him (gladly) as a master of comedy

  • Thios is hilarious.. I'lll always think of Ulrikaka and Angelos...

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA not heard this for years then I started singing it today for no reason

  • At my softball game, me and my friends were running to the bases yelling BOOM BUDI BOOM BUDI BOOM BUDI BOOM OH

  • put two and two together.

    four.

    *ROTFLMFAO*

  • Offensive shit.

  • deanmartinfan65 I think you are right, its about time i checked them out.

  • SEXY!

  • Love this song and Peter Sellers Indian accent is the BEST. And Sophia Loren is gorgeous...... hilarious song..... love it

  • wasnt peter selers the best.

  • @deanmartinfan65

you know i never liked him when i was growing up.....but after his appearance in Being There changed all that. What other of his movies do you recommend?

  • @Armyboy1066 i recommend all the pink panther series.

  • ooooooooooooooh Blimey

  • The Matt bryant/Linda joyce version on embassy is good too.

  • It's Sophia Loren, not Lorene.

  • The footage is from a 1960 film called "The Millionairess". The song was not featured in the film although it was obviously inspired by it. The scene featured in the clip is obviously where the song would have slotted in if it had been. Not a bad editing of the song and clip, if only the timing of both had allowed the line "Show me your tongue" to synch with the bit where Sophia actually sticks her tongue out.

  • @EeBee51 I could have sworn I remembered seeing this film with both characters singing as they acted! - just shows how imagination can colour memory

  • @theclarkey100 I did not see the film until the 1980's, I forget if it was on VHS or TV but I remember being very disappointed that the song did not appear in it. The scene featured in spinout007's clip was the obvious place for it. It may have been in the original film release. Maybe the OP can comment on this, I will defer to anyone with better knowledge than I on that matter

  • @theclarkey100 I should have checked before I answered you comment. It was not in the film, Wikipedia has the story, look up "Goodness_Gracious_Me_(song)". Youtube will not let me post the full link

  • @EeBee51 yup, I checked wiki before I posted that reply - the thing is they are not ALWAYS right, but in this case their information 'sounded' well researched. Incidentally, my parents share the same memory of watching that film (on sunday afternoon telly, late '60s early '70s) with them singing at each other - mass hallucination? Btw: None of us has ever been abducted by aliens

  • what was that footage and song from? movie?

  • Ohh my god...best song ever

  • The video and the song are totally out of sync. However Sophia Loren is just stunning here!

  • Trust me ... I'm a doctor

  • Peter Sellers as an Indian doctor? =D

  • Sophia Loren. Aaaaah!! :-)

  • I am agog at this! :¬O Sophia semi naked??!!! How did I forget that? I'd forgotten about the film. Never will forget the song tho. So funny.

  • this is from the movie '' The Millionairess ''

  • Good times.. I listened to this all the time when I was little.

  • Peter Sellers was fair smitten with Sophia Loren when making this film, in fact he made a complete charlie of himself over her. His obsession with her put an end to his already creaky first marriage and word of his behaviour travelled. It made quite a few actresses reluctant to work with him. I believe that after this track was recorded Sophia Loren made a very prompt departure from the recording studio.

  • liked the b-side too, grandpas grave, cant find that on here

  • @andyrewskiful Hahah! I remember the alternating cockney and posh accents of it too! LMAO! I think someone in my family still has the original 45rpm single.

  • @wordreet hi, this is not a cockney accent. this is the accent you find among well educated people from India. not cockney at all. it is very posh upper-class Indian accent. :)

  • @tiralira2007 Yes I know that Tiralira. Peter Sellers was a genius both at comedy, accents and serious acting. I was responding to andrewskiful's comment. ;)

  • @andyrewskiful We used to play this song over and over, but you just reminded me of the B-side. O we have to find it!

  • @normalil STAY IN THE FUCK LANE you relate yourself to the repulsive syphilis riddled camilla whore looking angular and like a man in drag together with being the most prolific whore ever to be around the royal parasites. It’s not surprising she needed to have her badly prolapsed syphilis riddled vagina tightened what’s next the sagging mouth or rectum they have all clearly obviously been very heavily used by scores of men passing through! Try to stay in the lavatory, it will avoid 'accidents"

  • @arabellasp1 Please go away. You are repulsive and not welcome here...you disgust me, and every other decent youtube user. "Saint" Diana, I am sure, is very proud of you.

  • GOSH..!!! i adore this song.....

  • " Peter Seller who'd spent 3 years in india during early on in his career does an awesome take on 'Goofy Bawas " Neville Bardoli Esq

  • Peter Sellers is comedic legend, Neville Bardoli

  • This is from the The Countess. I grew up with this playing on the gramaphone.

  • @irvinglegend01 It was the same for me. It was and always will be a song of joy...

  • This song gets in my head and I can't get it out. Esp. the boom-boody-boom-boody part. I find myself singing it without even realizing it.

  • My stethoscope is bobbing to the throbbing of her heart? Jesus, subversive much? hehehe. My stethoscope is throbbing to the bobbing of Sophia Loren's tits...;)

  • @OSWendigo Hahaha! Pervert! Hahahaa! So funny!

  • Could you please tell me what film this scene is from??? Aren't they just so great!!

    Thank you for posting this!!!

  • "The Millionairess" but the song strangely was not in the film.

  • It isn't a film it's the music video

  • one of the best songs id heard... my tape went bad some years back

  • lol this is sooo funy :DD

  • great:D

  • The stupid Indian accent is spot-on.

  • indeed

  • A classic !! Love this skit since seeing the movie in the early 60's. I've enjoyed singing it to my kids over the years, in a great Indian accent ! Many thanks for the memory - we laughed a lot in those days.

The movie it came from was 'The Millionairess' and Sophia spells her last name Loren not Lorene (maybe spelled that way to get it past the video copyright police ?) Did you see her on the Oscars this year presenting best actress..wow !!?

  • I heard this on Dr. Demento thirty years ago. Thanks for the happy memories! :D

  • Love it. Hadn't heard it or seen it before

  • likewise!

  • I love this song!

  • I am so glad for this posting. Thank you.
