A true masterpiece, editing is top notch! Is the artist the same one who drew GitS SAC? The main female looks alot like Motoko Kusanagi in that series. this is an anime i might look into investgate a bit more. Supurb Job on this excellent creation!

Thanks! I think it was a good 10-12 hours to prepare all the footage and then somewhere between 20 and 30 hours for editing.

Ah, I remember this anime I started watching it when it first premiered on adult swim. I loved it but I stopped watching it and forgot about it, thanks to AMV I'm going to continue watching it again. :) Anyway great video loved the song and of course the choice of anime. Only thing I say I would maybe change is trying to make the clips match the beats more, while still having some of the flashes. Other than that I say it's perfect good job! :D

I appreciate your comments, but I don't see how I could possibly do more beat matching. This video is full of internal sync (which is the best kind of beat tech.) Every time weapons clash in this video or someone gets speared, it's matched to a beat precisely. Every transition is matched to a beat or measure. The flashing is just there for extra flare. I'm not interested in making a video where you just throw different scenes up rapid fire. Those kind of videos, by and large, are terrible.

It depends on the source. Normally I just use whatever the default resolution is (after any black space / distortion has been trimmed away.) This time I re-sized it to 1.5 X its default so I could get the HD on Youtube.
