@sealover7979 Attention!
Important for the discussion: Sealover7979 writes Kyrillik... not that there is anything wrong with that BUT... our people have not only been forced against their will to serve in the German army, but then have been solely affected to the east front, captured by the Russians who exterminated probably over 10,000 of my people...

When scholarly sources differ on the number of deaths in a country, a range of war losses is given, in order to inform readers that the death toll is disputed. Civilians killed totaled from 40 to 52 million, including 13 to 20 million from war-related disease and famine. Total military dead: from 22 to 25 million, including deaths in captivity of about 5 million prisoners of war.
World War II casualty statistics vary greatly. Estimates of total dead range from 50 million to over 70 million. The sources cited on this page document an estimated death toll in World War II of 62 to 78 million, making it the deadliest war ever.
Remember the pact Ribbentrop and Molotov. Section of Europe between Stalin and Hitler. Two of the executioner began the war against the whole of Europe.
stevedn1 You have trouble to recognize your mistakes of history. Then your army at Stalingrad would like to drink vodka and champagne in France, let alone the North Africa did not say. I feel sorry for you.
Over one century Germany started two world wars which claimed tens of millions of lives and has always lost in the war large areas of land that never come back. We all have one planet that we must love and not divide.
@sealover7979 World War 1 started in Sarajevo - Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia then Russia declared war on Austria. Germany was allied with Austria - you really do believe every piece of politically correct rubbish don't you? Germany didn't "start" WW1 at all. Did you ever hear of the Treaty of Versailles? The Polish Corridor? World War 2 was started by the Versailles criminals. Winston Churchill was a vainglorious and bloated old warmonger.
@nigelelsass Die gedanken sind frei ! I think you are a poor nostalgic nazi , Yes to Europa Yes to liberty with all people from Europe .Yous seak from yours ancestors! My father was "malgré nous" in,,Stalingrad and your father?
@christmar67 : My Grandpa was sent to a workcamp by Nazi regime... that does not mean a free card for France to eradicate our culture... HELLLO ??? you are so confused. The Country you adore wouldn't even exist without America.
@christmar67 : It is highly racist to characterize myself as a Nazi just because I am faithful to my people and my culture and not to France. I just wish people would be more tolerant (UNLIKE you) and more politically educated.
@christmar67 : Are you some kind of spin-off of the republican party who uses the Ad-hitlerium for anyone who doesn't agree with you? That is even so insulting to people who suffered horribly during this regime: you also have no sense of decency sir.
And by the way, you have no monopoly on the European Idea.
@christmar67 : Robert Schumann, one of the founders of modern UE by the way held speeches in front of the French national assembly to protest French cultural oppression... does that make him a fascist too?
An arabic quote says you should "turn your tongue 7x in your mouth before speaking".... seems not to be part of your wisdom/skills, doesn't it?
@christmar67 : luckily, we stopped making people of your kind who make false associations around 60 years ago...
Was by the way Albert Schweitzer, a true humanist who opposed French rule also a Nazi? Were Vietnamese who did not enjoy French people jump with 2 feet on the belly of pregnant women to squeeze the foetus out also Nazis? And Algerian also?
@nigelelsass : We know just too well your kind, the "you're either for us, or against us". This is using this logic that my grandpa was sent to camp. You are just an uneducated moron who assumes that anybody not agreeing with France is a Nazi. Even the average pornstar might be more brainy than you.
Today, the French are more relaxed and speaking German in Elsass is no longer forbidden.
However, it is too late, the majority of young people dont speak it any more. The French have managed to make the Elsassish /(German) dialect a "language of old people" or a "language of peasants".
Read the sad article of an old Elsasser, who says goodbye to the Elsass he knew, and who accuses his Elsassish fellow-countrymen of having betrayed their homeland.
@christmar67 : Not only is it imperialist to force your views onto others... It is totalitarian and fascist to make false assumptions and spew your hate on those who have a different opinion. You really have to ask yourself who among us is the fascist...

@sealover7979: What gives YOU the right to decide for my people and my country?
Obviously there are a lot of exceptions in your "love the planet"...
I still like the US, despite M_RONS like you which are a shame to their great and generous country.

When scholarly sources differ on the number of deaths in a country, a range of war losses is given, in order to inform readers that the death toll is disputed. Civilians killed totaled from 40 to 52 million, including 13 to 20 million from war-related disease and famine. Total military dead: from 22 to 25 million, including deaths in captivity of about 5 million prisoners of war.

stevedn1. Who do you think of A. Hitler ...? Remember how he died. Not as an officer and even more general. Mad dog, a dog's death !

Over one century Germany started two world wars which claimed tens of millions of lives and has always lost in the war large areas of land that never come back. We all have one planet that we must love and not divide.
sealover7979 1 year ago
@sealover7979 World War 1 started in Sarajevo - Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia then Russia declared war on Austria. Germany was allied with Austria - you really do believe every piece of politically correct rubbish don't you? Germany didn't "start" WW1 at all. Did you ever hear of the Treaty of Versailles? The Polish Corridor? World War 2 was started by the Versailles criminals. Winston Churchill was a vainglorious and bloated old warmonger.

Polish Corridor? Prewar Pomeranian Voivodeship was smaller than Royal Prussia.
