  • anyone can make tutorial of this please?

  • Got a bit of dubstep in it - at least for the drum...

  • @Lalli1987 it does sound like very early dubstep, a shame the genre evolved into the shit we hear today

  • @UglyStru STFU. This I'snt fucking close to dubstep. Go get your ears checked.

  • @SayuriZ4 Whoa, calm down hipster.

  • Such Badassery

  • I like the dubstep feeling of it :) Robert Prince invented the genre. Who's Skrillex?

  • @UglyStru

Dubstep wasn't invented during the age of when DooM came around

  • @eth92 -___- I think you missed what I was getting at.

  • @UglyStru

Please educate me and I shall understand.... After I shoot some Imps first :3

  • @UglyStru Fuck dubstep, just no. Dont even dare compare those shits to this.

  • @HybridHeavenZ Whoa, calm down hipster.

  • @UglyStru Standing up for Doom's namesake is far from being "hipster". And nice double post, Cunt.

  • @HybridHeavenZ Actually, it wasn't a double post it was copy-pasta since you and Sayuri had the same things to say. Get your facts straight. Is something wrong with liking Doom and Dubstep? Yeah I didnt think so. Now I have better things to do than argue with a troll over the internet.

  • @UglyStru Same shit, either way your comparing a Game that was released in 93' to some shit mainstream music.

    And your done arguing?

If you reply your straight up Cunt no doubt. lol kthxbai.

  • @HybridHeavenZ can you stop calling this guy a cunt just because he made a vague suggestion that this song bared a similarity to dubstep. i like dubstep, LOVE doom music and id say hes got a point, dubstep sounds like its influenced by loads of older games, it has simillar sounds.

  • @fingerZskaterZ ULTRA-VIOLENCE!

  • Doom > ANY other game. WELL with one exception; Ninja Baseball Batman.

  • I brought a torch to see where I was shooting...

Turns out I slaughtered the demons first before turning the light on

  • @eth92 lol comic reference right?

I love that part its so bad-ass !!

  • I see many here think that in the 90's theme music was better than now but in fact it is not entirely true. in my opinion the music didnt fit well with the atmosphere of the game its just the music itself that is good and you all just feel nostalgic when you hear it

  • So many people think it is cool to be all like : " MEH NEW STUFF SUCKS,PS3 AND XBOX360 SUCKS, ONLY 90S PWN!" xD and that just crack me up alot xD

  • @totallynoob96 that is because is the truth Doom > Cod or any other shitty clonic shooter.

  • @alex12345677 And why lol xD It is good i agree but doom is like such an old game,it doesn't have so many things like games nowadays. Sure i would play Doom and Mario for nostalgia feeling, hell! i could play them all day!they are awesome but some people are like :" I don't play new games, they sucks" and all are so damn funny lol xD.

  • @totallynoob96 well i got bored easily with cod4 and crysis and doom even if its and old game still i enjoy it more.

  • @totallynoob96 Are you implying sir, that complexity and modernity is relative to fun and it being an amazing game, and old games only have nostalgic enjoyment? If so, one word for you.

    WRONG.

  • @TheModCon nope! not implying that at all! it's hard to explain but after all, what i'm tryin to say is

People who go : " Oh ,i only play old games, i don't like those new games shit, they sucks" only because they think people think that is cool should go fuck themselves? :D

  • 3 people dont' know. Extinguish the light when they took the key

  • See, they were making dubstep ages ago...

  • @Skullbird11 Dubstep was since 90's... Now it's "mainstream" and everyone likes it :F.

  • Comment removed

  • aww childhood...when a woman wasn't the bane of your existence....your console preference was.

  • @YakuzaJoe88 Epic comment

  • @YakuzaJoe88 The bane of someone's existence is their most begrudged, hated thing ever. Your comment didn't quite make sense, so I wasn't sure whether you knew.

  • @TheSkelwor so then I'm 50% correct...women are the bane of our existence. lol

  • @YakuzaJoe88 Indeed XD

  • @TheSkelwor Bane is just something that makes you suffer, not necessarily something you hate. Also, preeetty sure it was a joke >.<.

  • @aza4444 I know, I was just being a Grammar Nazi and possibly saving him from ridicule from those who are pickier about the English language. Not that he should care what internet people say about him, but..

  • @TheSkelwor His sentance was 100% grammatically correct, missing capitals and a space, but that isn't grammar it's punctuation. Now THAT'S a grammar nazi. I'm not gonna bother you about this anymore lol.

  • @aza4444 I surrender! All hail the English Führer!

  • @TheSkelwor XD

  • who the fuck would dislike this??

  • @Gggmanlives Hipsters...

  • @haxor758 or that one person out of 228

  • @corvette2446 no... it has to be a hipster or it was suiton trolling us

  • 1 person can handle the definition of "1337".

  • Why do they call this "MIDI Rock" music?

  • 1 guy disliked to keep the 0 in 220

  • What a great beat. Damn.

  • This game changed the World. Even (or especially) Bill Gates World.

  • sounds like red alert music

  • -.- one person had to dislike -.- they like to ruin good music

  • So... Doom also invented dubstep. So fucking ahead of its time.

  • @23house23 Its an insult to say doom created such shitty music.

  • Damn, all these OST's got me thinking, i actually experienced 3 generations of gameing consoles, pc's etc. Now i feel old :(

  • Criminally Insane, by slayer

  • fuck yea dub step

  • @AndrewMacedonia get out. dubstep is complete shit and it ruins good music

  • @AndrewMacedonia Lol. Nice trolling troll.

  • This shit is damn creepy.

  • man i can drum this shit 4x this speed i have listened to this song for a loooong time.

  • Fuck yeah.

  • its a masterpiece. soundtrack. level design. art work. future games never beats it. romero and carmack hell of fame

  • @aditouyube666 "hell of fame"

cant tell if spelling mistake, or pretty good pun.

  • game developers now a days only wish they could have music like this.

  • @LORDOFRYAN

    One company does.

The company that's making the game Wrack has Bobby Prince onboard for their music design. The same guy that did the music for Doom, Doom II, Duke Nukem 3D and Rise Of The Triad, to name a few.

But yeah, I do miss when videogames had music like this. That's why I'm so curious to see how Wrack turns out, because the music is very much in the same style as the games I mentioned.

  • I much prefer the PSX music, fits Doom perfectly..this doesn't do it for me

  • @reniisgod psx songs sux, its totally sad... pc is badass, rock and roll

  • @OficialHangar Both the PC and PSX soundtracks are aweome in their own right.

  • brings back so many good memories of playing Doom all night with your buddies.. kinda like pair gaming...

  • [) (:) (:) /\/\

  • @oscarmanuel144 IS THE SHIT!

  • Early dubstep

  • this game is the only game to ever make me jump out of my seat.

  • my favorite classic doom song which sounded the most electronic out of the bunch. Fitting with all the military bases.

  • This is almost like dubstep in a way haha

  • this game used to scare the SHIT out of me.

  • @azuredivina i know, i used to watch my brother and my dad play it and the cacodemons scared me SHITLESS, i'd always hide behind the couch until they were gone

  • @azuredivina

dude same fucking here funny how not many people can relate.

  • In doom, on the higher levels its hard. You find a BFG 9000,You think you can kill anything,You miss your one bullet given on the bfg and monsters kill you. Man i love doom.

  • Seriously, can buy this soundtrack somewhere?

  • I could listen to this one all day.

  • -My first expirience of E1M3- Got the blue key card WTF there are three of em RUUUUUUUUN cant see cant see *dead*

  • Wow holy shit, this does sortof sound like Dubstep....

Next time we're partying I will put this on and say it's some sick ass Dubstep and see what people think...

  • Xmas morning playing this on my SNES and thinking I was really special to own a game rated 18

I'd give anything to go back in time

  • @edd77 12 rated. I know because I got this game for my 12th birthday.

  • @theotherdoomguy Are you sure? I swear to god it was 18

  • @edd77 Maybe in America or something. UK and by extension Ireland, it was rated 12. I know because it was the game I got for my 12th birthday. Which turned out much to my advantage because I originally was supposed to get Super Mario AllStars.

  • @edd77 Me too, i'd give anything to go back in time when I was just 5 playing SNES DOOM and struggling my ass off on Slough of Despair and Warrens.

  • @edd77 True stuff there.

  • Doom invented dubstep

  • @xXBeastOfBurdenXx

SHUT THE FUCK UP! FUCK DUBSTEP! LONG LIVE ])OO]V[

  • This dubstep be filthy yo, love that wub wub nigga.

  • but why isnt doom 3 so famous like doom 1,2,final and duke nukem ? =/ is the game so bad or is it just the new features ? =/ i dont get it why not so many people like doom 3. =3

  • @Snyperwolf91 The original Doom was revolutionary. For it's time, the graphics and game play were just simply amazing. Doom is actually considered to be one of the best games of all time. I personally prefer the original Doom's to Doom 3, Doom 3 just isn't the same.

  • @otyroo2 now i know . that means doom is like tetris but with weapons ,secrets , demon and kills . thanks for the info man . ^^

  • @Snyperwolf91 Very simple: Doom 1,2 = Terror of the horde. Doom 3 = Fear. The old Doom engine was able to render 30 000 monsters on an old PC. You will never be able to achieve smth like that with the new game engines.

  • @insight1337 For one thing, that's wrong, any modern engine of today can render more than 30,000 models in realltime with AI, it''s not the engines. The problem is shit computers that can't handle the games. If the new engines were meant to load 30,000 enemies in an OLD PC, then the graphics would look like shit for today's world.

I wouldn't mind playing new DOOM sequels with the classic graphics, but no modern generation gamer would play with 1993 graphics, and every company knows...

  • I always take the secret exit in this mission, ever since the day I first found it.

  • @Fatcatnevercameback Me too. God, it took me forever to find it though.

  • @areckelh - I don't think it took me very long to find it, I was exploring and found the doors that open and close automatically, so I took extra effort into entering the passageways and got lucky.

  • @Fatcatnevercameback That's just the thing, I never noticed the doors that open and closed automatically : /

  • Hmm, anyone know what this song is based on? Most of the Doom themes were remixed music from famous bands and the like.

  • @OldSkoolgamerz No, they weren't. At all. Just the first one.

  • @manka6 actually there are more than just the first one, like 6-7 more

  • My fav soundtrack from Doom 1.

For some reason i like calm dark mysterious ost's in doom games the most...

probably because action i get from killing monsters, but not enough mystery, st compensates.

My fav from Doom 2 is Countdow to death (original soundblaster version)

  • This makes me wanna play doom and kick some demon ass with a shotty >:D

  • take the chainsaw and run through does Pinky Bastards. I hated those invisible Pinkys in the dark area when the night goggles run off XD

  • In year 1994 I was an Amiga fan.

    Doom changed ALL.

So great musics, great visuals, great fun!!!

In 1994 I saw Doom, and I thought "Rest in peace, my dear Amiga.".

    \m/

  • this one (might) have bin used in a Mario game (still unsure)

  • love it, song perfectly describes the feel of the game

  • The Doomguy: so badass he wears a shortsleeve vest with exposed ab muscles - in space.

  • suspenseful shit, love it.

  • doom was a revolution on gaming. chareware was the shit back in the 90's

  • 0 people accidently fell into the toxic pits

  • @roxasfruit actually my friend did, he just doesnt take things harshly

  • real game music ftw

  • to me this is your turning the corner wondering whats going to happen, maybe 100 pinky's, maybe a survivor, or just maybe an escape from this place

  • @jjmara01

if theres 100 pinkys i pull out my chainsaw

  • its like that the doom guy understand now that there is something wrong with the whole base and want now a total destruction to revenge his comrades. ^^ if the forth part of the series should continue the adventure of the doomguy then i would buy a suit like the classic doomguy to play the game with this suit . XD if anyone like this idea should thumb up this comment.=D

  • do we hear this song at any other level in the game? :|

  • @humanconvertile type IDMUS13 and you can listen to it whenever you want :)

  • @PeppaPraseCZ That's cool! O.O

Now I just need to get the PC version... if it's still around -.-

  • @humanconvertile steam is the only place where i know you can still get it legally :D

  • @humanconvertile...If you have a Xbox360 and a Xbox live account, you can download both Doom 1 and 2...and both are the origional PC versions, complete with the official music of the games.

  • @1Dudelove The only fail is, you can't jump on the xbox version got em both :P

  • @makedaevilmage ummm you couldnt jump in doom on the pc either

  • @makedaevilmage you don't need to jump in doom. You just take the bigger gun and level everything. lol

  • dubstep all the way :D

  • I can play this game, and Doom 2, for hours listening to this music, it never gets old!

  • Nothing beats hacking apart pixelated demons with a chainsaw in a dark corridor with metal/proto-dubstep blaring in the background...

    ...God I miss the 90's...

  • @Kylev2 Shit was way cooler back then too!

  • @Kylev2 not even close to a template of dubstep....

  • So awesome, this one :)

  • Makes me think of Mass Effect lol

  • Doom=badass

  • @wickedblackcamaro doom>badass

  • @JordansBeans i love your username, its sexy

  • @wickedblackcamaro thank you.

  • @wickedblackcamaro kinda gay

  • @ihavoldgamertag your username, however, is not so sexy

  • This game gave me nightmares when I first played it at the age of 5! Good times!

  • @OldSkoolgamerz - The funny thing was, I didn't have nightmares from the game, just the bunny at the end! Haha!

  • To me, it sounds like a cooler version of the imp song

  • This is probably one of my favorite Doom tracks over both games.

  • After i Clicked The Link, How can i download the the music?

  • Doom is a cult game

  • Wow. I remember playing hearing this while playing in a pitch black room @ 2 in the morning. I was hooked on this game for a while.

  • this song sounds nerve wrecking to me

  • @figaro589

Even worse when you're trapped in those fucking corridors. I started playing Doom way too young...

  • @23house23

I've been playing from around 6 or 8

  • @figaro589

First time I played Doom I was at a friend's place, I guess I was seven. He had Doom II on his computer and I'd play the first level. It used to scare me so bad with the music and everything about it. If I was left alone in the room I'd stop playing immediately.

The first time I beat Doom I was 9 I guess and it didn't scare me because the sound didn't work. Without sound it was far less freaky. By the time I was 10 though it was fine and around that age I beat Doom II.

  • I always go back to Doom but I've realised it's been a good three years since I've played any of the original games (Ultimate/II/Final) properly.

  • @23house23

well, it goes to show you don't need graphics to play a good game because your imagination goes into the game. every person from a different generation say the game is "shit" because the graphics are rubbish. PFFT! what do they know, eh?

  • @figaro589

Well back when we first played Doom the graphics were pretty damn good. If I was a kid starting games at the Xbox gen it would be understandably difficult to get into a game like Doom since gameplay and graphics standards are higher. I still love Doom - it's easily one of my favourite games of all time, one of my defining games - but if I hadn't started gaming way back then I doubt I'd get into it now.

  • The soundtrack defines descending into hell, all the while leaving civilization with each second that passes.

  • For me,this song just defines DOOM

  • @Retroman1000 And... where the fuck is that exit?! It was there! I swear!

  • @Retroman1000 absolutely. This is the best ambient song ever existing in PC Games. Also, the remixes from Classic doom and Xeltech are also fucking amazing! :)

  • it woudlve been better if they didnt cut the sound short that starts at 9 seconds, on the snes one they kept it going even while they changed the tune

  • It reminds me of whoppers, blackberry jack and reefer... almost twenty years ago!

  • it always reminds me of the spectre on nightmare level! lol! my head automatically associate the moggy bass to its quick step, and the sinister pads to its invisibility!

  • ¡¡¡muy bueno¡¡¡¡¡

  • DUBSTEP?!?!?!?!?!?!?

  • Haha yes but somehow less boring.

  • this son reminds me of the 90s.....i loved em so much

  • @KartKing4ever Likewise

    Something about it

  • This song always reminded me of the cacodemons.

  • Dub steppin all day!

  • ahead of its time, precursor dubstep

  • Christ, it is as well. Has some DJ made a proper mix of this??

  • NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • when you heard this in the game you were just like: " okay i know the demons are right behind that corner just stay calm, and kill them with your shotgu" then you go over to the corner and THE LIGHT TURNS OF and you're just like OMFG IM GONNA DIE!!!!!!!!!!! MOMMY!!!!!!!!!!!

  • lol

  • @askytte And you're 10 years old and haven't played this.

  • Very nice that you have uploaded this great stuff here, but the sounds sound really strange to me... I know it depends a lot in a sound card how midi is played, but I have heard no computer sounding like this.

Anyway, very good that you posted these.

  • @PaskaBee If you haven't heard it like i
