  • Wonderful teaching!

  • Lama Tsongkhapa is one the Buddhas that have tremendous blessings upon its surrounding especially when it is extremely huge. Therefore Lamas of the past in Tibet has initiated projects of large Lama Tsongkhapas have tremendous effect of calming natural disasters, diseases, cause peace to prevail and increase prosperity in the land.

  • Listening to teachings, contemplation, sadhana and Dharma work. Wow! How skillful and in Lama Tsongkhapa's tradition, teachings is essential to fuel our sadhana and contemplations so we do gain real attainments. The teachings is also a yardstick to check how our mind is.

  • Lama Tsongkhapa was a real person that lived in Tibet. Born a humble boy, he grew to be a great monk, practitioner, yogi, scholar, Lama and then Buddha!!! We are very fortunate because we still have access to Lama Tsongkhapa's great teachings and blessings.

  • I like Lama tsong khapa teachings. thank you.

  • Good teaching and explanation from Rinpoche about Lama Tsongkhapa.....during buddha times, buddha already predict that Lama Tsongkhapa will build a big monastery to spread the Dharma........Lama Tsongkhapa lineage will never end, and is still passing down till today and available for everyone to practise and benefit from it.....

  • Doing puja also collect merits, this is to help us into our spiritual path especially for the people who is doing Dharma work.

  • Yes, the main role of a teacher / lama is to teach... to turn the Wheel of Dharma; students especially senior ones ought not to disturb their lama's mind on other matters by volunteering... to organise events, to raise funds, etc. and very important not to cause disharmony among the students because that will definitely cause the lama to worry and need to spend time on solving it.

  • Doing Puja is a very good training for us, as its helps to clear obstacles and also train up our mind to be firm in our practise. Thank you Rinpoche for the good explanation......

  • Hi, Rinpoche's gives public teachings on and off, so be sure to sign up on the KH guest list. Kechara House is in Sunwaymas Commercial Centre and you can find the location maps and telephone numbers in kecharahouse website i met them the other day and they even have an sms tree, which they use to keep you informed of teachings or sms teachings from Rinpoche the cyber lama. why because he's very keen on the internet as a way to reach out to people.

  • The highest function of a Lama is to convey and teach the dharma. So folks make sure your teacher only needs to teach and not do anything else, otherwise we are wasting the potential of the Lama. And if we waste their incarnation , they might pass away sooner than necessary out of great disappointment.

  • By doing the dharma one is doing puja - puja is there to clear one's obstacles to practice. Very informative.

  • Thank you Your Eminence Tsem Rinpoche for your very clear and lucid explanation on the iconography of Lama Tsongkhapa. We are all in darkness but for lamas like yourself. Please stay on long to turn the wheel of Dharma.

  • Just based on Lama Tsongkhapa sitting in a full lotus position it says that enlightenment is gained through study, meditation, retreat, effort and doing ones sadhana. Wonderful.

  • Hi I'm in Kuala Lumpur and would like to know if Rinpoche teaches or gives any public teachings in this city??? I'd love to go for a live teaching. I'm staying in Subang area. I'm sure he has a centre here but I'm not sure where? Can anyone help with some telephone contact details or a location map??

  • This video also explained that all students should help to do the Lamas work to just lessen His burden for Him to solely concentrating on turning the wheel of Dharma. This is clearly shown in Lama Tsongkhapas mudra. The teaching mudra, because teaching Dharma is a the main function for a Lama. So profound. Now I understand more about Lama Tsongkhapa.

  • Listening to dharma and practicing dharma is the main Puja that we should be doing. Only from Dharma that we are able to help our destiny.

  • The best jewel in the world will be the Dharma Knowledge! Dharma jewel takes away sufferings. By reciting to Lama Tsongkhapas mantra, our power of knowledge, art, writing, memory, understanding will improve very well. Powerful because He is the Buddha of wisdom, knowledge and understanding.

  • Hi,

a wonderful brief representation of one of tibets most profound dharma reformers.

(He was also a composer of the treatise LAMRIM _ The explanation of the Stages to enlightenment)

  • Rinpoche is such a fantastic dharma teacher. I learned so much about Lama Tsongkhapa from this video!

  • I am grateful that I was told of Lama's Tsongkhapa's teachings thanks to the work of His Eminence and of everyone at Kechara House.

  • Me too, I rejoice for all their actions that concentrate on others.

I think i now know so much more about Lama Tsongkhapa after this video, I definately need to get a bigger Lama Tsongkhapa Image!

  • Thank you Your Eminence! It was very helpful!

  • Since Lama Tsongkhapa is one with Manjushri therefore his practice must be equally good for students, children & those seeking wisdom too. Plus the blessings of Chenrezig and Vajrapani.

Now I understand why KECHARA's main yidam is Lama Tsongkhapa!!

  • Teaching should be the main activity of the lama , very interesting .

  • I want to pray to Lama Tsongkhapa!!

  • without realization, you can do everything but you cannot achieve Buddhahood because the cause is just not there. The karma to be attained is there but cannot activate.

  • thanks

  • Nousoul, from what little I know the waterlily is a plant that grows out of a muddy or murky pool yet it produces a beautiful, pristine flower. Therefore it represents purity arising out of Samsara. Someone who has been able to rise above Samsara to become an enlightened being.

  • If I was in your class I would ask you, "Is it true that the lotus is a psychodelic plant and was popular as an intoxicant in India, Egypt and everywhere else in mesopotamia and the sword against it was representative of not having to consume that giver of bliss because your mind is strong with bliss from Darmha Knowledge.?"
