Yes, co2 is the greatest greenhouse gas known to man, but the reason Mars stays so cold is because if its super thin atmosphere. The mars atmosphere is made up of 99 percent of co2, but in reality there is not enough of it to hold heat. The thickness of mars atmosphere is only 1%-3% of earth's depending on the season. With the 2 factors of having a thin atmosphere, as well as being farther away from the sun, there is not enough atmosphere to capture the heat from the sun.

Seriously, explain things don't just confuse people. Yes the atmosphere of mars is 95% co2 but that is a percentage. It has a very very thin atmosphere with so little CO2 that it has next to no effect. It is 95% but 95% of hardly anything. Thats why it is so cold. It does not have enough CO2 to make Mars warmer. CO2 is both good and bad. We need it to a certain degree, but too much and we end up like venus with a temperature of 500 c or so.

Lol, you actually believe that NASA fed bullshit. Mars isn't a 95% percent CO2 world like NASA wants us to believe. Maybe it doesn't have as much oxygen like earth because it doesn't have that much vegetation. But search on google or youtube Mars trees or Mars vegetation and you will see what I mean.

And the temperature isn't -62°C all the time. I'm pretty sure it isn't even that low. Maybe somewhere at -50°C. Because the martian summer sometimes reaches +20°C or more.

Methane is the green house gas which can make its way into the upper atmosphere, not CO2. It is for this reason it can act as a green house. CO2 as everyone knows, will sink because it is heavy.

But here on earth, all our CO2 is outfitted by the gov't with little methane backpacks so it can cause global warming.

Mercury is cooler than Venus. Venus has greenhouse gases. Mercury is closer to the sun though. Earth is closer to the sun than Mars. So how can Mars be heating up 4 times faster? The reason Mars is so cold is because the Martian atmosphere is extremely thin. So there goes your theory.

Global warming is not occuring equally across the planet - Al Gore himself points out hot spots - yet Co2 abosorbs evenly into the atmosphere, not in lumps. So if Co2 were the problem, then we would see consistently increased temp data from all parts of the globe. But we don't... This is because our earth IS warming, from solar radiation. Solar events create localized areas of heating, and NASA themselves say the sun has never been hotter than today. Chew on us Tipper & Al...
