My first show I ever seen In Las Vegas was Danny Gans at the Rio Hotel and he was Awsome the very best,, but today was my first of hearing of his death.... such sad news,,,,,,,, R.I.P Danny Gans. Your gone but you well not be 4gotten
I still cannot believe he is gone, I have heard that Frank Caliendo is going to the strip soon as well.
When I saw Danny Gans he inspired me to do more with my impressions after a long illness, I never met him but saw his show which was awesome and one day when my daughter is grown up I will come over. He will be remembered by all and I loved his art.
I shook your hand last month and had my picture taken with you. Now your gone. Thank you for the great show on my birthday. I know your in God's Theater now with all the greats of Las vegas. My future trips will never be the same. RIP Danny and thank you.
Danny was GREAT. I hope to see him in heaven one day to say "thanks for bringing so much joy to so many people". My deepest prayers go out to his family.
Some stars shine so brightly they burn themselves out... Yet they leave a lasting and lifelong impression of their joy, their light, and their love for what they did to make our days better.
I read he did a Bible reading right before every show. What a loss for his family, and to Danny. Rest well. 5.2.09
man...life is so short and so precious, we don't have time for bickering, racism, and neglect; we all are equal and can meet our maker at any time. So sad
Oh man, I just saw his show last Friday at Encore. Very sad. Quick story. Before we got tickets to see him, I was thinking that this guy must be a poser for putting on his billborads in Las Vegas "Entertainer of the Year." But I thought I'd give him a chance. I'm open-minded. Well now I know why he was "Entertainer of the Year"every year. He was awesome. I fuckin' loved his show. I said afterwards that I would definitely go see him again. I'm lucky.
Any Danny Gans conspiracy theories out there? It seems mysterious and weird. Conflicting news reports: A. He passed away in his sleep B. He woke up with shortness of breath and his wife called 911 and passed away while waiting for emergency help. Time of death is conflicting: A. Larry King says he passed at 1:30am. B. Other reports say 3:44am, someone called and was he still alive, and having breathing problems. Hmmmm...the official cause is still unknown.
I question why this is not on the news more?? My local paper in Tacoma did not even have a brief about it. Nothing at all. When Sigfreid & Roy were attacked my tigers it was ALL over the news. Danny Gans was the #1 act in Las Vegas, and I personally loved his show. He will be missed. Any Danny Gans conspiracy theories out there? It seems mysterious.
Look I feel bad for him and his family but who cares whether or not an entertainer is christian or not. Being Christian does not make one moral it just makes them Christian. Also he seemed to kinda play it safe and pander to middle america but regardless RIP buddy you were clearly talented
I saw Danny 2x while living in Las Vegas!! What a treat, great guy!! I am crushed!! What a loss!! I guess i am luckier then most because I actaully got to see him. I feel sorry for those who never did. God bless you Danny Gans, you will forever live.....
R.I.P Danny you were the best thing to happen to las vegas since the rat pack u will be deeply missed. You Will have heaven laughing. We Will miss u and my thoughts and prayers go out to your family and the wynn family
First my condolenses to the family of Danny Gans. My prayers are with you. Danny you are in the presence of Almighty God. Thank you for standing up for integrity and Honor in a world where some performers don't care about there material. You were so blessed with gifts. I thank God for allowing us to share in your life.
thers an old saying u dont know what u got till its gone--- not this time; i appreciated this mans talent, personna, and goodness , in awe actually. This is a devastating loss.
God bless You danny Gans. Well you are in His almighty presence. Thank for for standing up for integrity and honor in your performance, you were a rare breed in this day and age, I could even allow my 11yr. old son to watch you perfomr You were blessed with so many awesome talents. My prayers are with the family.
God must have needed a new entertainer in Heaven. Possibly the LAST Christian entertainment GIANT of my life time. Danny made Vegas light up in many ways.
Saw him in Vegas twice and on Broadway...always told anyone going to Vegas to see his show...he was the best. My dad did impersonations on stage for years and he absolutely loved Danny Gans. My Dad has since passed. I know they're both in heaven entertaining everyone. His show touched my heart and many. He lightened our lives for the moments we watched him on stage. Thank you Danny Gans. Your memory will live on. God Bless your family. I know you loved the Lord...be at peace with Him now.
My girlfriends and I went to Vegas two years ago and enjoyed Danny's show so much. It shows that entertainers can perform without the profanity & sex and be a huge success! We need more Danny Gans in our country! I am so saddened for his family & for the Vegas community. Sadly to us, his purpose for this life must have been completed & God has taken him home.
Another gone way too young and way too soon. Danny, you were one of the best and everyone misses you already. Sleep peacefully and blessings to his loving family.
Wow....what a tragedy!!! I went to his show every time I went to Vegas.... The last show he had his whole family in the audience. He loved his family and our Lord...God Bless you and your Family Danny!!!
I saw him a few years ago and the show was great. I was stunned and shocked to learn of his passing. He seemed much younger then 52. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
Just this AWESOME talent a few weeks ago... I am crushed! Why do these great talents die young?; Elvis, Judy Garland, Liberace, Janis Joplin, Jimmy Hendrix, Karen Carpenter, Kurt Cobain, Bernie Mac and Danny, why god why?!?!
He was only 52. Bernie Mac was 50. John Ritter 54. Versace 50. My boss died at 56. This is very scary cause I'm 54 and out of shape. Live it's day to it's fullest! Danny Gans did! Rest in Peace Dan...
my condoleance goes out to his family. He was a marvolance entertainer and he will be sorely missed. My family would make the 100 mile trip to see him every 3 months, now I don't know who to see, mostly, they have trash aka kris angel Please REST IN PEACE
It's really scary. 52 yrs old. Bernie Mac 50. John Ritter 54. Versace 50. My boss 55. I'm 54 and I worry like crazy! You get to this age and realize how close you are to a dirt nap! Make the most of it. Like Danny Gans did!!!! Live each day like it may be your last!
Our hearts are broken. We loved Danny and have seen his show twice and have his Christian CD. He loved God and his family He even talked & sang about that in his show. He was a "light" in a dark city. His show was wonderful and so funny! He grew up in the San Fernando Valley, Ca. near us. Our prayers are with his wife and children and family. I was blessed to see his show once in Vegas. Some of the best money I have ever spent in my life! He was phenomenal! Heaven now has another fabulous entertainer - although at age 52, far too young.....
I had no idea what to do with the talent God gave me until I saw Danny Gans. I had a troubled youth and when I saw Danny, it gave me hope! I am now a successful corporate entertainer and at the tail end of my first year of Pastor School. Thanks and God Bless You Danny!

Everytime I tried to get in to see Danny, he was sold out! It was a longtime dream of mine to see him perform.
When he lived in La Canada, I attended a Bible Study in his home with his wife, Julie and some other friends.
What an awesome Christian family.
We need more entertainers like this.
You will be missed.
