I was looking at this exact package on the net. My question is from the mixer do you use the 2 main outs and plug them into the xlr line in of the speaker.

@thecaptain72 I do use the 2 main outs on the mixer but I use the 1/4" input on the speakers.

@waznik1 Thanks.. just use windows extended desktop feature.. Hook up an external display to the laptop, setup external desktop and drag the vocals window over to the other screen.

@MasterFlores75 Oh gosh.. I would think at least 200.. I guess it would depend on if it were a "sit and listen" type party or "dance party". I'm loving it so far and it's perfect for what I need.

hey Jake got a question for ya. Im looking into Djing and was looking at the vestax typhoon because it has a built in sound card thinking i can bypass a mixer to save on costs. Is this not possible? ive seen others use it laptop to typhoon and speakers into typhoon. any info would be great.. thanks

@DVACCARI70 YES! The Typhoon has a built-in sound card and you can hook it up directly to a powered speaker or amp. The only reason I wanted/needed another mixer was for the multiple inputs. I sometimes play from the Typhoon AND my laptop Itunes so I was having to switch cables from the output of the Typhoon to the headphone output on the laptop. Now I can run the outputs from the Typhoon and laptop to the mixer and mix everything without switching cables.
