My question: Is this some kinda special mapping for the virtual dj software or does it also work with traktor? I'm using the same controller with traktor and I've never heard that on any of those 6 buttons.

HELP!!!!!!

I have just bought this and can't get sound though my speakers and Q music in the headphones together Grrrrrrr!! I bought a 3.5mm Jack Socket to 2 Phono/RCA plugs Adapter Cable to allow me to plug my pc speaker system straight into input 1 &2 on the RMX. Is this right?? what should be my system set up in VDJ to get this workin?? I use windows vista on my dell laptop - Please Help B

it uses USB to control the MIDI but it uses it's own sound card and RCA cables to output sound. Like a regular mixer. So it's 2 in one

i don't have the unit anymore. it's best if you go over to the virtual dj forums in the RMX section. Plenty of threads and help is there to get you up and running smoothly

one question, maybe you guys know the answer... i'm using the hercules rmx for a while now, recently i also bought a turntable, my question is, do i need a separate audio interface to use time-coded vinyl or not? and if not, what kind of time-coded vinyls can i use with the virtual DJ software ? please, if you guys know the answer, i'd really appreciate it, i have a gig in 1 week and i want to consider my options :D

First of all get rid of vista and you will lose most of your problems. Installed XP Pro on my Acer laptop right out of the box, downloaded all the drivers and installed my Hercules drivers and software. Had skipping and static and all kinds of crazy stuff going on until I UPDATED my USB driver and bam! What a difference. this controller is the bomb, Dependable, universal, and reliable.

Hey everyone,

I just purchased a new Hercules RMX dj controller and installed the driver + software. When I tried it out, the software started stumbling and didn't run solid. Is my laptop the problem? I have an ASUS intel core 2 duo, 2 GHz, 2G Ram, 160 Memory, with Microsoft Windows XP Professional version 2002 service pack 2.

Is that good enough for everything to run? If yes, then what might be the problem? The direct X version 9 is also installed.

Every MIDI capable software will allow this mixer(MIDI capable) to work with it. You might need a mapper or native support but in theory... yes it will work. you just have to have some sort of file to make it work. google this to see if that exists

yes it has its own built in ASIO soundcard. It also has balanced professional audio outputs (1/4")and unbalanced outputs also (RCA)

I personally used mine at big venues before. it performs just as a regular mixer.
