  • Yes. Blades are 24 inches each and are balanced. The blades you make can be made to your needs. Thanks for viewing. Good luck with your project.

  • Did you say the blades are 2 foot each? I got a bit of hum in the audio so I couldn't hear too well. Thanks.

  • Also, if your PMA has both connections you can only use one or the other, you cannot use both. Hope this helps.

  • Using the AC from the generator to the rectifier on your charge controller panel would be the best way to go in my opinion. Depending on the distance between the two determines the wire size when using the DC side of the alternator. It can get expensive since the wire is much larger for DC and is acceptable to high voltage loss. When using the AC side, a 12 AWG 3 conductor wire can be used in long lengths with very minimal voltage loss.

  • so AC power from the charger to controller is better way than DC? I also have a gm pma and am confused as to wish I should use. I haven't installed it yet and it is set up for 12v DC but I understand that it can be convert to AC. Can you maybe explain the advantages or disadvantages, please. Everyday the wind seems to blow and I figure now that spring is here I should be getting this installed to take advantage of the wind energy blowing by.
