@willham95 ..- we do have.. in fact when its new year.. every where u go there would always be fireworks.. every house would always have some fireworks on their own.. this one is like hosted by a mall in the philippines this is just one of the many malls who had firework displays during the new year.. :3

This must have been fantastic for all Phillipino citizens who have never seen fireworks before or have used the Internet, or eaten good food, or read a newspaper etc. But the civilised world, like in the UK, does not consider such an event to be a good firework display.

@LeeClaxton never seen fireworks? we have the best fireworks in the WORLD, each new year celebration since time immemorial.  Whites come over just to see this every year. And filipino food, because were asian, is one of the best, and so abundant specially during the holidays. uk doesn't consider this event a good firework display because you don't have one.LOL and your sooooo jealous,,,look what's happening with your country right now? @jeyeykei _ i dont think so, you said this is one of the best, nope, if you cant go here in sydney or watch it in youtube.... this is really one of the best fireworks ever... especially NYE 2012. you gonna love it... so dont fool yourself... the fireworks here ususally last for at least 12 minutes... pls watch Sydney NYE 2012... and youll see how they work for it... its worth it... fireworks not only done in harbour bridge, darling harbour but other big cities in NSW...

@VS257 not everyone's cup of tea, but I've seen sydney and it's quite boring when compared to the chaos back in manila. I guess it depends on what you prefer, but I rather have my new year chaotic and loud, than a pretentious show of only 15 minutes or so.

@mrvsg1 it's not about the beauty or cost of fireworks. In the Philippines, anyone can light a firecracker or have fireworks because people are free to do it. Unlike in other countries, you can't even buy those things because they're illegal. People are always scared that cops might catch them if they light one.
