  • Luv this song!!! ♥

  • We all belong to each other, we should unite and love one another not be fighting and killing.

  • This is a great song <3

  • @JonasBrosFan17 What do you mean it has one now?

  • @MyChainsAreGone7777 You said this song didn't have any dislikes, but it does :(

  • What if this is where America is going?

  • Matthew 12:25 "But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand."

Lets not cut down people in His name nor point fingers, lets live like Him as He commanded, would JESUS do that? What would JESUS do? Ask yourself that, in every aspect of you lives, and see, lo, there is indeed a great change. God bless you all!

    Lets not cut down po

  • I would venture to say division among us as a body of Christ is the number one problem. A lot of it comes from a foolishness and a personal pride that I've seen among some leading the church. It's what caused my church when I was a child to fragment and split up and move into different directions.

  • Mark Hall explained in concert that Jesus referred to the City on the Hill as the Kingdom of God on earth. Basically the followers of Christ.

  • AMAZING, this has no dislikes!

  • @MyChainsAreGone7777 It has one now :(

  • I think of the lyrics as saying the entire world and we think we all know best, hence war. I think that we as people want what we think to be correct enforced around the world. If you think about it the earth is a ball and on all sides it could be considered a hill. We all want best, just our on version of best, I must say sorry to anyone that thinks we who follow Christ are pushy or violent. I apologize for all of the disputes that our religion has caused. Truthfully we don't know best.

  • Anyone get that the 'City on a hill' is a symbol for the US?

  • @1996sparkles I think its meant to represent the Christian Community and the world as a whole.

  • I absolutely love casting crowns....they are such blessings...thank the lord for them!

  • Musically Casting Crowns tend to be a bit same-y imo, lyrically however they are absolutely brilliant!

  • cuz we live in a world that everyone must fit in in bigger society, i hope cristianity will get bigger every day.

  • I love this song <33333

  • i just requested singing some of Casting Crowns' songs to my Youth group and i hope they will play this song

  • Wow, this REALLY hits home for me. I was kicked out of the church I attended for going on three years this past summer. Praying for reconciliation!! This part fits the situation well:

But it was the rhythm of the dancers

    That gave the poets life

It was the spirit of the poets

That gave the soldiers strength to fight

It was fire of the young ones

It was the wisdom of the old

It was the story of the poor man

    That needed to be told

  • This has to be one of my favorite Casting Crowns songs yet. They know how to hit home and have some of the most meaningful lyrics out there. Casting Crowns is an outstanding band :)

  • “Give, and it shall be given to you. For whatever measure you deal out to others, it will be dealt to you in return."

  • Love this song....I wonder why we Christian can't stand united? Opinions, denominations and doctrines divide us. If we all believe in Jesus, why is it so?

  • @Zonun1 'Cause Christians, though we're Christians, are still human. We're prideful, selfish, and mistrusting. I was recently kicked out of my church, because I went to that church and another that met on a different day. But, the pastor of the church thought the other man was stealing "his" sheep. So, he said to leave, and stop "corrupting his people", basically. We wonder why others don't want anything to do with God. It's SAD =(

  • @SoldOut2Jesus1 Now thats not right. I told my pastor(also my grandfather) that i was invited to my friend's church and he had now problem with it. All he said was to make sure to pay attention:)

  • @marshmellowman2011 That's how it should be. There's also a verse in Habbukuk (2:10) that says some thing about that kind of thing as well.

  • @Zonun1 I can relate to this so much, I'm Lutheran, my friend Baptist, we disagree on a lot of things, But this thing called "Chrislam" Came along (Worth a google). It made me realize that we shouldn't be quarreling over our beliefs because it doesn't matter because we both accept Jesus as The Lord.

  • @Zonun1 In order to stand united we must all be untied from the things of the world.

  • @Zonun1 I have trouble understanding that aswell. Men have just split the body apart so much!!

  • @Zonun1 Amen.

  • It's a beautiful song .

  • This song is so true, it's amazing. Instead of all working together and accomplishing things and leading others to Christ, we're all fighting with each other and hating on each other. If we could all just put aside everything, we'd most definately be capable of incredible things. Love this <3

  • This is so true about the body of christ. Instead of working together and loving one another, we choose to hate on eachother and point out the flaws. Its so sad.

  • So true. The human race is capable of amazing things yet we choose to go at each others' throats, thus crippling our ability to bring about change.

  • Has something to say to each church hopper who can only hear the voice of their own opinion.
