  • Looks like that sled went supersonic. Another angle showed it going thru that sonic vapor cloud.

    I'd say impact was around 700 MPH.

  • Buster WAS in front of it, I think. At the front of the sled was a big solid plate of steel. At the end of the track was a ginormous concrete block. In front of the block (between the sled) was a compact car. The objective was to fuse the steel plate into the car. I think Buster (or a stand-in) was inside the car. After the collision, there was nothing left that was any larger than a shoebox.
