regarding california kids playing for notre dame, it's not just usc's "backyard"... ucla is there too.. notre dame can go to california and florida, all over the country and get players, but they all lose!!!

Notre Dame has nothing in Indiana. They have to get kids to come from Texas and Florida and California. Nobody coming out of high school really cares about Notre Dame. They were big back in the day when they were one of the only schools on national TV but since every team is on national TV, Notre dame has nothing in their favor to recruit kids to their school. Sorry Notre Dame but unless Indiana can grow athletes like Texas and Florida its pretty much over.

Feel sorry for the 15yo kid in this video. He's obviously the product of brainwash from his parents. Notre Dame has not been relevant since Sufferin Succotash was their coach. Coincidentally, they haven't posted back to back 10+ win seasons since then (92/93).

when it comes to thinking about Juco players who are dominant.. Coye Francies was a solid CB for Oregon State and SJSU. He didn't get national attention, but he was a dominant and only spent one year with each team. (he had to transfer to SJSU because he was kicked off the OSU team)
