@Khakal Pues es relativo. No me parece una idea descabellada que los Tercios masacren a la caballería que les carga de frente... es casi casi un axioma de todas las épocas el que la caballería muere ante los piqueros. Ciertamente las cargas medievales son de las más devastadoras de la historia, pero a pesar de eso, los piquieros sieguieron siendo los llamados a contrarrestarlas, y fueron muy efectivos.
Neat video of the MTW game. Seeing these on You-Tube is what convinced me to get the game. Unfortunetly MTW Pavia is not very historically accurate For one thing there are no Swiss and King Francis had 8,000. Additionally Mirabello Castle was not fortified, but it was the site of the French baggage trains. Actually, if you could place the armies where you want the Pavia "map" would be better for the battle of La Bicoca.
Everything you said is true, but as you know, CA cant recreate the battle 100% accurate, as for example 8000 swiss soldiers can fill 4 armies in the game, and the field of battle is too small.
@redsnow66 it really is! but i manage to win, try to hold their cavalry for at least 2 mins and use your cavalry to take their cannons! 1st go for the one in the left then in the right then you basically have done a semi-circle and go for their archers! then hid behind the line as the enemy cavalry chases you. then try to plank em with your cavalry..its an idea hope it helps..thats what i did
