2:26 - I remember playing with my dad, and going through that part and almost crying and saying; 'look dad! It's sooo hard!! i'll never get to the end!!' and then right there was the end sign. I have never been so happy to see that little '!' in my life. :'D

the GBA version is easier cause of the invincibility cheat and you have 4 instead of 3 health

Am I the only one who didn't think this game was very hard? I got stuck after anguish lagoon (that may sound stupid), but when I completed swamps of forgetfulness I completed the whole game in a row. Now I can complete in about 7 hours without using any continues.

@TheAssyrians Each world (Band Land, Dream Forest, etc.) has a separate video showing all of the cages missed for the respective world within each level. There's a playlist with all of the Rayman 1 videos in my channel. Hope it helps.

its wierd, as a kid i used to beat mr dark and the 3 mixed up bosses easily without losing and health, i tryed recently, died like 6x to mr darks annoying fire wave thingies, like 10x to those annoying lil lazer shooting flies and 2x to the massive bouncing thing -.- where have my skills gone. lol :p

@dxundertakerdx09 and @vingamer0723 I realize that these comments were made 8 months ago, but I just wanted to say (mostly for the future reference of others) that this game actually does not work on the PS2. It is one of the few PS1 games that are incompatible with *all* models of the PS2. So, unfortunately, this game will only work on a PS1. I found this out the hard way... =(

It does not work on mine (but mine is not a slim) and the list that I found online of games incompatible with different PS2 models listed Rayman 1 as incompatible with all of them. Since it does not play on my PS2 (wide), I just assumed the list was correct in saying that it also does not work on other models. Thanks for correcting this! =)

Yeah, they should actually, seeing as Rayman is one of the few super popular games that isn't exclusive to a console. (Ace Combat was PS exclusive up until AC6 when it became 360 exclusive, YOU FUCKING TRAITORS! Halo and Gears are 360 exclusive and God of War is PS exclusive).

You can download it off of the Playstation Store for the PS3, and I THINK the PSP. I'm not too sure how to get it on the PSP, but I think you can.

Anguish Lagoon is a good place to get a good amount of tings. The Moskito part gives at least 50 tings. That's what I used to get extra lives.

Yeah, that level is pretty hard. Also I have an idea of where you are having trouble with the 2nd Band Land level...I've died over probably 15 times in the third section of that level. It's HARD.

I find that the best way to jump on those tiny slippy platforms is jump towards to edge, so Rayman grabs onto it and dangles from the side, then jump carefully on top.
