  • That's DLT's voice at the start isn't it ? ; yes definitely it is

  • i would feel weird having someone write a song for me and then take credit for it.

  • Paul is singing back up to Mary Hopkin. I wonder if they ever see each other or even think of each other. A reunion of these two would be a delight ! It would certainly be nice if Paul who has bundle of dough asked her to do a reunion and she could go halfsies on the most certain large profit. Live concerts? and CD's and a DVD ?

  • The combination of these two talents is exquisite. Nice to see Macca enjoying another artist doing justice to his composition. Mary Hopkin's sweet voice is perfect for it. Best Wishes & PEACE to all.

  • Instead of air guitar, it's like Paul is doing air singing on this.

  • 40 years ago I saw.

  • paul was so handsome back then

  • he must have give her one,, i would have

  • Are they the two cutest people ever or what.

  • weeni..

    die trilling

  • @boeieund Ik ben het met je eens!

  • Looks like she actually can play the guitar!

  • It is rumoured that he asked her to marry him and she said NO !

  • @MrAndysoul you be right about that even though she was only 16

  • @MrAndysoul I don't know of that rumor but could of happened, she was pretty and as we now know Paul is the marrying kind.

  • Actually, this was written by McCartney

  • @TheKenfig Yes, that was very obvious. First thing I said when I heard this song.

  • @Artemisss1 I had this singe when I wa six years old - funny how it's writing credit was still 'Lennon / McCartney', but not really as Lennon had nothing to do with Blackbird or Martha My Dear etc by the Beatles, but with this it seems more odd doesn't it ? - Same year, 'Give Peace a Chance' is also credited to 'Lennon / McCartney'

  • @TheKenfig Yes, ridiculous, actually. 'Give peace a chance' is clearly written by John Lennon. Besides, they always sing their own songs.

  • @Artemisss1 But also it is a solo Lennon single

  • @TheKenfig Written by McCartney for Hopkins to sing

  • she had great teachers, paul mccartney and nilsson

  • @jimbronxny Paul produced Mary Hopkin when she recorded this song too.
