Alexander Grant: Sleeping Beauty (Three Ivans)

I remember seeing a film in the 1950's (in Wellington, New Zealand) of Alexander Grant performing. From memory it was a series of extracts from various ballets, but the one Alexander Grant performed in was The Firebird Suite and I think Margot Fonteyn was also performing. It would be wonderful to see that performance again if the film still exists.

I met once Sir Alexander in Hungary in December 2010 when coming donwstairs after a "Fille mal gardée" performance. I tried to suggest him to make a shorter version of it in order to showing it to the Hungarian countryside people. He seemed to be interested but we had to cut our conversation and I could not get his email or addresse since then. Can somebody help me?

Thanks very much for posting this. Alexander grant is my Grandmothers brother. The only other film I've seen of him is Bettrix Potter. Great!

He is also a cousin of mine. My Dad's cousin and he took us all to see him perform in Christchurch NZ when we were young and we all went back stage to meet with him.
