I had this problem. Recently I've tried to do a video once per week, even if it's a short little nothing. It's kind of like writing very short stories, or diary entries if you're a writer, or doodling if you're an artist. Good ideas can and will come, you just gotta practice the tools of the trade in the mean time.

I'm still laughing over that Ken Tanaka video. Not everything is going to be that hilarious, but that's okay! :)

Listening to your well-paced Japanese diction is good practice for me. And it's alway handy to be able to watch mouth and lip formations when Japanese is being spoken. I can do this with you without feeling impolite, as I don't need to keep eye contact,haha!

If you put too much thought into trying to make a video, then gyaku ni you'll end up postponing it even more to omoundayo. Make a video when you feel motivated, muri shinai you ni, ne.

I wish I could figure out how to type kana on this thing...

If you're using Windows, you can install the Japanese IME, then you get a fun little language bar! All you do is select a text field (like this one), hit ALT+SHIFT, and then type away (you may have to make sure it's on the kana sign first).

It will try to guess at what Kanji you intend to use by giving you a list -- pretty much like typing on a Japanese computer.

Nono, I just bought a new computer, a Mac. Havent had it for more than a weekend, so I just havent had the time to set up kana input on it yet. Ironically, I bought it here in Japan, and I for whatever reason, when I set it up I decided to choose US keyboard settings. Its a general laziness thing. Thanks anyway.
