@mozmex It's because other people don't understand the difference. i speak spanish, and I am not a spaniard, yet if a tell people I am a hispanic or latina they don't get it and I get "but you speak spanish?" They just think all spanish speaking people are spanish. This is why sometimes it is easier to say it so they can get it because some brains are just to small to understand the difference.

@dauryjvc her spanish isnt perfect, because she did grow up in the us, but she lived for a while in the DR, osea que no le queda mal, pero you can tell if you are a fluent speaker... she mixed up her masculine/feminine tenses a couple times.

But over all, she speakes with a Dominican accent, (I'm Dominican, too) it's not bad.
