Thank you so much for posting this. Those in Jersey who know Bon Jovi, Bruce and, or course, The Big Man... more than just musicians but as friends... couldn't be part of this tribute. I think it is fitting that there was NO sax. Shows you the very void the loss of Clarence has left. RIP BIG MAN.
still hurts that I will never see the big man on the stage making the most beautiful sounds from his horn. Great tribute, along with nils doing 'miss you C',tramps like us show at the stone pony and ed manions junglekand solo during southsides show at the pony last week
Agree with Magicrat999 - even if they had a sax player it would have been in extremely poor taste to play it on that night. Great tribute by Jon and "Big Man" you will be missed!
Great tribute. As a big Boss fan I was gutted to hear about Clarence. Going to see Bon Jovi in Edinburgh in a couple of days. Really hope they do this tribute again.
"It was also important to us to honor our friend Clarence Clemons. His passing is a sad loss and we wanted to honor him, his family, his bandmates and his many friends. Our performance of “10th Avenue Freeze Out” was from all of us, as your fans." Jon Bon Jovi on Facebook
@leatherneck1957 Bon Jovi doesn't have a sax player. Does it even really matter? It's called showing respect for a friend, a fellow musician, and a great human being. Haters are always gonna hate. Making a comment like yours is just disrespectful to the memory of C.C.
Not to sound like an ass but if you're gonna do this song, you gotta have horns. But aside from that a great tribute to The Big Man

kroma, maybe something like Bono & U2 did... use a fittting song of their own that didn't require sax... just my opinion

Very nice tribute......and leatherhead, even if they had a sax player in their band, no way , no how, on that night does it get played

great tribute to the big man. I hope that he is proud as he looks down over all of us who mourn him. Its a true sign of how loved he was
