@00Crazymonkey Good Luck for you my friend! Right now I'm in my PPL( theoretical) and waiting until the flight school clears me for my first ever flight. They have a policy about not allowing anyone to fly when they didn't attend at least a month and a half of the theoretical....but that's okay. At least I'm almost done with my medical licence. I hope you'll make it to the major airlines! HAve an amazing day.
@Ryan92Ex I soloed on December 7th, 2011 and I did the same thing! I was taking deep breaths like he did, I was talking to myself, and hollering, hehehe
Congratulations! I soloed in a 150 too, and it brought me to tears. I'll never forget it and my friend, neither will you. All the best.................always.
did my first solo in march and did exactly what you did there. was nervous leading up to it but once the instructor got out, i calmed down, took a deep breath, called the tower and got on with it. must say, i screamed too. it was the most unreal experience. will never forget it.
its not the stall horn thats buzzing, its some kind of whistle that we can't explain and it happens in different flight manuvers. we call this cessna 152 "the whistle plane"
0:54....I know that deep breath VERY WELL. Great job

First: Congrats on your first solo flight. I'm sure you've had many more flights since this post. Good for you.
Second: Whose idea was it for the camera? Yours, your flight instructor, or is it policy (for insurance reasons)?
Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm still putting funding aside for my flight training...

10 degrees flaps for normal takeoff??
SIUCAandP 1 year ago
I do it with 0. It really depends on the runway conditions. My airport has a fairly long runway so I dont need the use of falps

if you were flying alone, who was holding the camera?

That stall horn buzzing is very unusual. Decrease the angle of attack man.
